Ben 10 Audience Reviews

Wordiezett So much average
GurlyIamBeach Instant Favorite.
Numerootno A story that's too fascinating to pass by...
Invaderbank The film creates a perfect balance between action and depth of basic needs, in the midst of an infertile atmosphere.
DCfan When I was 7 I used to be scared of aliens and supernatural things but when I saw Ben 10 then I really got interested and less scared. I even remember coming home from school and looking forward to evening the time when I would watch the show with my sister and sometimes my dad. Call me weird but I actually asked for an Omnitrix toy for my birthday as well. My favorite alien used to be Wildmutt. Vilgax was definitely scary when I was younger. The best episodes of the series are "Secrets", "Back for Vengeance", The purple lighting arc, "Perfect Day" and the Negative 10 arc.I also liked the Ben 10000 episodes especially since Greg Wisemen (the creator of Young Justice: very good show by the way) wrote those episodes. He also wrote Under Wrap. If you haven't seen this show yet I would honestly recommend it. Please don't watch that horrible reboot it is nothing more then a poor excuse for a Ben 10 series and just a show which is just made to sell toys.
caidenw-37050 If you have a kid(s), especially a boy(s), then chances are, they'll love this show! It's got action, cool powers, nostalgic/cool music, cool plots, relatable characters, silliness at times kids will be able to relate to, cool characters with cool powers, and cool/great villains! This might just become your kid(s)' favorite show! The animation is terrific! The plots feel immersive! It'll inspire your kids to start dreaming of what they want to be!There's great humor at times that's well-timed, and there's at least 1 superhero your kid(s) will love! Your kid(s) won't get tired of this show! If you have a son(s) between the ages of 4 and 11, then this show will be great for your son(s)!
bluhmfamily NOTE: This review will maybe contain spoilers.I first heard of Ben 10 in early 2006, The first episode I ever saw was "Ben 10,000". Later in the middle of 2007 I when I started watching it the most. My favorite aliens are. XLR8, Heatblast, Ghostfreak, Diamondhead, Benvicktor, and Cannonbolt. The show is really cool in my personal opinion, but there are some little things I complain about, one is the silly plot holes and acting in most episodes. In 2005 when Cartoon Network was showing previews to the world, it probably sounded silly to some, but creative and original to others. The first two seasons took the levels of cool to the extreme by doing interesting and scary and dark villains such as: Vilgax, Dr. Animo, Kevin 11, and Ghostfreak; yes Ghostfreak escaped from the Omnitrix and became a villain. In the first season, Ben started with 10 aliens named: Wildmutt, Fourarms, Greymatter, XLR8, Upgrade, Dimaondhead, Ripjaws, Stinkfly, Ghostfreak, and Heatblast. I can't believe I memorized the order and names! In the second season, Ben un-locked 2 new aliens named: Cannonbolt, and Wildvine. They both are pretty cool actually! In the third season, in which were most of the stuff changed, Ben got a few of new aliens such as: Benwolf, Benmummy, Benvicktor, and Upchuck. I think that a little too much aliens were in season 3.In the fourth season, Ben got 4 new aliens (including the one from that terrible movie), aliens such as: Ditto, Eye Guy, Waybig, and Eon.The last episode, I didn't really care for because it seemed like they just rushed through it so they could get ready for the next series.Overall, I give Ben 10 and 8 out of 10, I subtracted 2 points because of the silly stuff and some really poor episodes.
joshmandr To be very blatant about it, Ben 10 is a good show. maybe it would not reflect on my rating but it was a fair one to watch nonetheless. the only thing i couldn't help pointing out is how children could relate to a character that has an attitude problem? really, what can this character teach them? disrespect their elders when he has been told many times not to do this, not to do that for his own good and still Ben had the nerve to say to his grandpa, "you're NOT my father!" this was found in one of the show's pivotal episodes, "kevin 11". is that how cartoons nowadays teach children are to do - answer back at their elders that way?! react all you want to this opinion of mine but i was raised to respect my elders and even if i disagreed with their opinions at times i never answer back to them. and as for that consequence, Ben lost his grandpa's trust at the time.Gwen hardly even fared better. she was supposed to be Ben's conscience given his straightforward rowdiness in resolving things. But sometimes for no apparent reason she also has the same attitude factor as Ben. has she ever heard of, "asking or saying things nicely?" there is such a word called tact. and even if Ben at times can be a pain, it does not give her the right to mirror his attitude.Perhaps the only reasonable character i actually liked in this series is Grandpa Max. i have never seen him in a flare towards any bad situation even once. even when he reprimanded Ben for this mischief, he always said it in a very fatherly way. and that my dear readers is a MODEL cartoon character - someone children could look up to.Fine. this is just a cartoon. maybe intended for preteens with a sense to know what is right or wrong. but you must understand that cartoons as in all forms of media can have a very lasting effect of a child's psyche in terms of values and outlook in life. many issues good and bad have involved in this media form. as a classic example read about Disney. For the die-hard and soft core Ben 10 fans, i deeply apologize. but i really had to let this out to do justice on why i lost interest in watching this show (let alone the Naruto series where the plot is five times worse than a soap opera!) until some changes can be made regarding the character's attitude in months to come. and from what i heard, Ben 10: alien force has just been released this month already. let's hope we see a more mature Ben Tennyson this time.
