TheMan3051 While the two Ace Ventura movies were hilarious this animated show based on the movies is awful! This is what you call TERRIBLE television. Sure the movies were silly but they were silly fun. This cartoon show is silly annoying!

MovieAddict2016 Ace Ventura: Pet Detective the tv show is fun. It's got some laughs, and slapstick humor. If you like the films, you'll love the show. I thought the movies were okay, and I think the show's okay too. So if you just want a few laughs, see this or the movies. Either way you'll have a pretty good time.

The show captures all the wacky style and crazy antics of Ace, and throws him into wild and fun situations around the universe and through time. It is also animated with a great artistic style, and neat drawings.All the great characters from the movies are in the show such as Ace's pet monkey Spike, Iguado the Police guy, Emelio and even Woodstock. Grraavvvy!!! Plenty of surf music and Hawaiian shirts make this cartoon my favorite, second only to my comic strip, which was influenced a lot by this cartoon.

Op_Prime A very funny cartoon series. Ace Ventura: Pet Detective is true to the movies and is just as funny. Now that makes this show special considering the limitations of it being directed at kids, instead of the movies being directed at adults. The writing is clever and the stories are funny. Overall, a great cartoon series.
