fatelovesthefearless 24 is the best action show ever made and one of the most entertaining shows I've ever watched. I actually can't believe all the negative reviews but it doesn't surprise me as most action movies get lots of negative reviews too. But I guess if your not into the genre why watch? Jack Bauer and John Maclean are very similar so I'd describe 24 as the tv version of Die Hard. Both men work in law enforcement and usually have a personal stake in the story, and both are about terrorists and how one man does his best to stop the terrorists, sometimes working with or against the law and both almost die multiple times. So yeah if your a fan of action and liked Die Hard then you'll love 24.

mariahtahmisian I have nothing but praise for the smartest, coolest, most innovative show out there! 24 is a thrill ride that never slows down! It's easily #1, none can come even close for me ever! Agent Jack Bauer works for CTU (Counter Terrorist Unit) dealing with (terrorists) assassination attempts, nuclear attacks, bio-terrorism, torture, traitors, sleeper cells, other bad guys in 24 hours (hence the name, 24). Each episode is an hour in the show (about 40 minutes for us without commercials) with 24 episodes, each season covering an non- consecutive day in Bauer's life. CTU helps stop the attacks with amazing agents, who routinely risk their lives to save the lives of others. More than one story goes on in the 24 hours though and we usually see people in charge, (for example the White House) deal with the attacks and internal issues as well as the terrorists or civilians etc. This is a show everyone should watch because they will love it. This show has cliffhangers at the end of every episode and is very easy to binge watch and watch many episodes in one sitting. facudelia Either you love it or hate it, I was lucky to be one of the people who loved it. The series is just amazing, and every season keeps on getting better, lot of surprises and overall the best show I have seen on TV, and the acting of Gregory Itzin, the one who played Logan, was incredible. I still do not understand why there are some people who hate it, but well, I'm sorry for them.

This is one of those series that at the ending of every episode there is almost a cliffhanger. Many directors know what it is but not many know how to do it.
