When a movie has you begging for it to end not even half way through it's pure crap. We've all seen this movie and this characters millions of times, nothing new in it. Don't waste your time.

As somebody who had not heard any of this before, it became a curious phenomenon to sit and watch a film and slowly have the realities begin to click into place.

I've used IMDB religiously for years but have never written a review till now. I love this movie so much and when I saw that it's average score was only 6.2 I only hope my score can improve the average! This movie really makes one think that the universe and all of us is much bigger than just ourselves, and that all of our actions good and bad have a ripple effect. It's also a very touching love story and you really feel for the main characters in this film. Anyone who has not seen it take a chance you will love this movie.

I enjoys the first half of this movie, although the romance between Peter and Beverly did feel very rushed at first (you know cliché when people fall deeply in love and first sight). I mean the guy had just met her like a day ago and was saying that he loved her so much and all this. But whatever, once I got past it's rushed beginnings their relationship was quite cute, I shipped it. I would have been happy to watch a movie that was just focused on their relationship like a normal chick flick but no. The plot was a mess of too many different aspects, it would have been a lot better if they could have just picked a plot line. Like really, they didn't need to have the whole demon mafia aspect or the weird white horse/dog thing. Although I understand this movie was based off a book however I have never read it myself, I understand that maybe they had to keep in those, in my opinion, pointless aspects to remain true to the book. However from what I've heard, fans of the book were not very impressed by this movie either. In my opinion this movie was just trying to do too much and isn't really worth your time.

Boring, boring, boring! I've watched some rubbish in my time, but this one must be near the top of the list. I do in fact know what this film is about, and I found that out not from actually watching it, but from the description on IMDb. The first serious problem with this movie is the photography - it is absolutely atrocious - this film shouldn't be listed as 'colour' at all. Nearly all the scenes are filmed in this gloomy dark teal varying to orange or grey. You really don't know what's going on at all until you get fed-up and turn it off - that's what I did. Russell Crowe's films just seem to get worse and worse - there was 'Noah', and now this insult to the art of movie-making. What next?
