Curapedi I cannot think of one single thing that I would change about this film. The acting is incomparable, the directing deft, and the writing poignantly brilliant.

BelSports This is a coming of age storyline that you've seen in one form or another for decades. It takes a truly unique voice to make yet another one worth watching.

Abbigail Bush what a terribly boring film. I'm sorry but this is absolutely not deserving of best picture and will be forgotten quickly. Entertaining and engaging cinema? No. Nothing performances with flat faces and mistaking silence for subtlety.

mailrraman warning: This may contain spoilers.While it IS dumb-headed to believe and marry a man who doesn't even have the basic papers etc, it is not an ordinary man that Sandra Boss falls for - he has, as the FBI agent says, "fooled a lot of people for a long time". And THAT i thought was the main point of the story (even though it may be real-life). That people, especially upscale folks get very easily taken in and are over-awed by "status".Overall a good film to watch 1 time (the kid is a real cutie).The unsolved double homicide makes it more real-life.The acting is OK, w/o being over dramatic.

napierslogs "Who is Clark Rockefeller?" is partly about the identity of Clark Rockefeller (Eric McCormack) but also about a mother's will to find her daughter when Clark kidnaps her.It plays out very much like a TV crime-solving show. Complete with the irritating music for every scene. The story is pretty interesting starting with us questioning that there's something not quite right with Clark and then the FBI uncovering one of their longest frauds in history. Or at least that's what the movie claims. I'm not really sure how much of this is actually "based on a true story".The acting is decent. I'm a big fan of McCormack from his "Will & Grace" days, but I wish I saw more of his other identities here. Sherry Springfield as the strong, desperate mother and Clark's ex-wife was quite good. I wish they presented this to me more as a feature film and less like a TV show, but "Who is Clark Rockefeller?" is interesting enough to watch.

How about Clark Kent, the mystery guy from Superman?Clark Rockefeller immediately assumes our interest as we begin to think of what this guy is all about. In other words, why and how does he tick?For sure, he is a mystery man who has assumed an identity linking him to one of the most famous families. The film is interestingly done, but true to life, it's really hard to conceive that a woman could be taken in like this. Red flags should immediately come up with no identification, no social security card, no interaction with the Rockefeller family, no picture taking and last but certainly not least, a Rockefeller bouncing checks! His wife may have had an MBA from Harvard but she definitely held a doctorate of life stupidity.The performances are good, especially that of Eric McCormick as the alias Clark. He certainly assumed a tremendous number of identities in his unusual life. Murder and mayhem certainly would never be anticipated. I noticed in the film how quickly his life seemed to unravel. Quickly, despite the fact that his wife was duped for 12 years. This may be a flaw in the film, but it's nicely handled, thanks to the flashback technique.
