He was convicted of manslaughter. She waited a year to visit him in prison. They had something special then, though few words came to them - perhaps too few in retrospect - and that is all they can do now talk. He awkwardly longs for the old days; she wants to know exactly what happened that fateful night. But neither gets what he or she wants: after all, he didn't kill just anyone....
