A waste of 90 minutes of my life

Although I seem to have had higher expectations than I thought, the movie is super entertaining.

Exactly the movie you think it is, but not the movie you want it to be.

Not good at all. Very biased and sensationalist about a subject that deserves to be treated with more respect. How the makers of this film used the editing process to misrepresent the argument is well documented (and shameful!).This is part of the problem with the media in this and other countries, they have an agenda and they force it on people often in the face of the facts

Couric is another pathetic example of the Dan Rather School of Journalism.Legislation cannot control the actions of either the mentally unbalanced and those evil souls bent on destruction. If the producers were truly concerned about the safety of children in our society they should focus on the thousands of children killed each year by pediatric malpractice. Another area needing concern is the sexual abuse rampant within the public school system. The Los Angeles school district has recently paid out more the 300 million dollars in settlements.

Stephanie Soechtig got caught. LOL.I guess the documentary was so bad that she needed to 'spice it up' by adding some fiction to the film.Just search "audio shows Katie Couric gun documentary deceptively edited interview pro gun activists" and you'll see how this 'film' represents the worst of the documentary genre.Stephanie you have a responsibility to at least pretend to represent the story in a minimally truthful manner. Just how many other edits did you make to spice things up?When did it become OK to release a 'documentary' that was as much fantasy as fact? It reminds me of the '80's when NBC used model rocket engines to set fire to a car so they could prove the point of their story, that the car was a fire hazard.Good luck on your future films. Now any documentary you make will be suspect.

Almost pure chicanery from start to finish. Katie Couric and crew do their best to further Bloomberg's anti-liberty agenda. Half truths, deliberate omissions, and shady editing are the hallmark of this "Documentary" The most glaring example of shady editing is found during the dialog and footage with the members of the Virginia Citizens Defense League. The cutting room floor must be littered with knowledge that the people behind this film desperately does not want their base to know about. If you are wanting to watch a hundred and ten minute assault on liberty and the Bill of Rights you need not look any longer because you found it. I recommend reading the Federalist Paper number forty six before you watch this to give you something else to consider.
