Very interesting film. Was caught on the premise when seeing the trailer but unsure as to what the outcome would be for the showing. As it turns out, it was a very good film.

It's complicated... I really like the directing, acting and writing but, there are issues with the way it's shot that I just can't deny. As much as I love the storytelling and the fantastic performance but, there are also certain scenes that didn't need to exist.

The first must-see film of the year.

Well where do you start with such a poor film. poor acting and unlikable main characters. A film that has very little to do with UFO's. don't watch this film if your expecting fights with little green men. I understand the film is more about the breakdown of human society then actual UFO's. however you do kinda wish the aliens would just zap the main characters away just to end the film. some lame slow-mo fighting, wheres the fights seem to of started for little or no reason. I didn't even reach the end of this film before I turned it off. I normally like to watch a film while doing my ironing so i put this on, but to be perfectly honest i'd rather do my ironing in peace then watch this again.

It began in a promising way, liked the idea and the unusual setting. However there wasn't a lot of acting talent in there. Poor character development and ending. It could have been so much better.JCVD unconvincing and wooden. A few predictable fight scenes. I know what they were trying to do by having Martha Reeves's 'Nowhere to run' in the soundtrack but it made a joke of what was supposed to be a tense scene.100 minutes of my life I won't get back.3/10 is generous.

if you are someone who likes the idea of Pierce Brosnan but are not prepared to commit to watching a film that he stars in then UFO, also known as Alien Uprising, is perfect for you.this film is perfectly serviceable for anyone who wants to watch a film that features people on the outskirts of the life of Pierce, the people who only have a footprint in segments of the Venn Diagram of the life of this celebrated actor.most prominent on the Pierce Brosnan Venn Diagram in the film is of course Sean Brosnan, the actor's son. he is not to be confused with Sean Bean or Sean Pertwee, although the latter also features.the Pierce connections do not end there, as Julian Glover out of Remmington Steele, what Pierce Brosnan was also in, features.if you are looking for a film that has tedious connections to Pierce Brosnan but has no Pierce Brosnan in it, or if you simply think every film should feature no more than 8 minutes of a Belgian actor, then this is for you.

Very bad CGI. That's one of the things you can expect, but you might have guessed that, what with this being a b (or even c?) movie! What you might not be aware of, is the fact, that van Dammes Daughter is in this along with Pierce Brosnans son. One thing this proves (especially in the latter case): Not every offspring of a Hollywood star gets special treatment. Or maybe the son didn't want to get any.The movie, which plays in the UK is very strange and almost has the charm to win you over. Unfortunately the characters are never warming up to you. While the twist might be a nice one, the way it is revealed is completely down-letting (let's get to the other room? Really? Really? No, I'm serious: Really?!)! But that is not all that might get you riled up. Van Damme is only in it for a couple of minutes and you wonder why he is there at all (I guess the casting of the daughter might have something to do with that).
