Aiden Melton The storyline feels a little thin and moth-eaten in parts but this sequel is plenty of fun.

Jakoba True to its essence, the characters remain on the same line and manage to entertain the viewer, each highlighting their own distinctive qualities or touches.

Gary The movie's not perfect, but it sticks the landing of its message. It was engaging - thrilling at times - and I personally thought it was a great time.

kucukmrv I had a chance to watch this movie yesterday after one of my friend suggested me to watch. I have a special interest on Balkans Wars that's why I have got very excited before i watch the movie. First of all, i would like to say that this is not a movie about Balkans war. It is an illustration of how a bloody war can affect and destroy a life of human being. We saw the drama in the eyes of a woman who desperately was trying to survive. Secondly, this movie looks to the war from a very different perspective. The actors and actresses played very well. Penelope Cruz and Saadet İsil Aksoy were amazing and finally the soundtracks are so strong that you would not easily forget.

Julia Stone This movie moved me so much that I had to get up and write this review. As Bosnian and Herzegovinian, I think that this story represents life and its details in Bosnia and Bosnian people before and post war. Details are saying much more than big things. Storyline is great and shows us how destiny can play with us humans. Also, it shows us how there is bad and good people and it doesn't matter who they are and what they believe in. It shows us how love can be really complicated and how people can sacrifice their life for other people. It shows us how system works and that we can't do anything to change it but we still can be humans. I haven't blink in 2 hours and 9 minutes of a movie. Actors couldn't been better. Adnan Hasković did his best and I loved it. I have no other words for this movie! 10/10

Mike B There are many things wrong with this film:Overacted - particularly by Emile Hirsch and Adnan Haskovic (who is constantly trying to sound poetic, but its balderdash). This film defines what over-exuberance is.Bad editing - we change scene to scene with little sense of continuity. In one scene, as our heroes enter a home, there is a man standing on his head.Musical choice - this with the poor editing makes the film a Much Music spectacle. There is one scene where a new character professes her love of Nirvana - so guess which song comes up next.Pretentious - the whole thing comes off as very self-indulgent - it's simply tedious.The only rewarding factor, for me, was the conclusion which put everything together. Still, because of the poor characterizations, this film had little feeling or empathy . It's almost like the ending was made first - and weave something to make this ending.

leplatypus To understand my summary, i would say that this movie is the mix between "Harrisson's flowers" (a love chase in the Yugoslavian war) and "Hindsight" (a crap movie that illustrates baby trade between parents). The result finally disappointed me as the story is unbelievable, too much baroque and the characters really antipathetic. I couldn't believe one second the lovestruck between Penelope and the photographer and their poet Yugoslavian friend keeps irritating me with his insidious attitude. Then, the story about Penélope's son isn't really realistic: all the twists and news about his roots really kill the emotion rather than make it appear! Worst, the Yugoslavian war appears above all like the necessary needed backdrop to raise the tension. In that way, "HF" was a much better drama about this conflict! However, the movie offers amazing make-up to age the cast: sure, it's about gray hair, change of clothes, but you could have a glimpse of what Penélope and others would look like in a few years. There's also a real effort to shoot on location as well. Now, regarding Penélope, she stroke me a bit as a female Pacino: kind, compassionate but ready to explode and shout as well when needed. Maybe it's the Mediterranean heritage that reached also the Adriatic coast!
