This attempt at rebooting the transporter franchise has been out for a few years now and nothing has been heard from it, probably because it is awful. The premise of the film sees the transporter forced into working a job because his estranged father is kidnapped. Ed skein plays the transporter in this film and he is a decent actor, I saw this in deadpool but in this film he is bad. He just doesn't fit the role and I didn't care about his character at all. There was just no charisma or life to his performance to help drag this film. Ray stevens plays his father in the film and I really didn't care about there relationship at all, he came across as pretty annoying and whiny which didn't help. All the other companions and villains in the film were garbage with no interesting things about them at all. The story in the film is so overcomplicated and ridiculous that you will lose track of what's going on or why you should even care. The script is cheesy and boring in all the wrong ways, nothing is funny and nothing brings out the drama so why should you care. The style has some okay action scenes but there is also some action scenes that are stupidly elaborate and awkward that you are questioning what you are watching. Overall this film is definitely not worth a watch unless you like awful action films.

Along with unnecessary sequels, one thing that pisses me off from the stable of Hollywood studios is reboots.Reboots are mostly rubbish and waste of time & money according to me. And after watching this reboot, it makes my case more stronger.The fact that Transporter worked so well was its main lead Jason Statham. Even Transporter two and three were below average movies, Statham was at his best.Sadly, Ed Skerin is no Statham. He lacks his personality and don't start me on his poor dialogue delivery. He may have the looks but his looks can't save this poor movie.The story which is a revenge drama has not teeth and tough the action sequences are good, they lack the edge of the seat thrill.The only decent thing is this boring thing is Ray Stevenson who plays Sr Frank Martin aka transpoter's dad. He has some nice one liners and seems to be the fun guy in a film that takes itself too seriously.Trust me. Miss it !!

Gorgeous scenery in the French Riviera, beautiful exotic women taking revenge on their pimp, and a Luc Besson story combine with an extended Audi product placement to make an entertaining action movie.Ed Skrein is a suitable replacement for Jason Statham and a believable enough action hero. Don't like the way he says everything in the same hoarse whisper though. Could vary his diction more. Loan Chabanol has got a future in movies - she is beautiful and acts well enough. There is a quite a range of exotic beautiful women in this movie but the message isn't exploitative or misogynistic. The ladies are the ones in charge here.Better than last couple of Bond movies.
