Let me be very fair here, this is not the best movie in my opinion. But, this movie is fun, it has purpose and is very enjoyable to watch.

One of the film's great tricks is that, for a time, you think it will go down a rabbit hole of unrealistic glorification.

This was excellent. It was both entertaining and insightful, providing a plethora of laughable moments paired with the tough reality of the strip business. You have to have an open mind to watch it, and truly capture the meaning behind the film. Method Man deserves a lot of credit. In making this film he displayed a fine example of curiosity and creativity. His message at the end changed my opinion on strippers, and opened my eyes to the reality of the situation. On a slightly different note, I have read prior reviews discussing this film, and I must say, sadly, many are laced with text-book examples of unintentional racism. A person can be a rapper and still have something important to say. Everyone needs to watch the end of it, when Method Man is sitting down one-on-one with the camera, that is what changed my mind.

At first glance it seems like an interesting documentary. It's certainly something that would peak ones interest, "What is a strippers life really like?". From the opening you know that it's nothing more than a gangster rappers attempt at marketing himself. It goes from Stripping clips blasting rap music, to rappers talking..like rappers talk, to maybe 2-3 minutes of actual strippers talking about their lives and back to strip clips. repeated for an hour or so.Any message in this movie is destroyed by the idiotic rappers. Maybe someday someone who knows how to make a documentary will touch upon the subject again without egotistical asses putting themselves infront of the camera for literally most of the actual talking during the movie. This doesn't deserve the 1 I gave it.
