MusicChat It's complicated... I really like the directing, acting and writing but, there are issues with the way it's shot that I just can't deny. As much as I love the storytelling and the fantastic performance but, there are also certain scenes that didn't need to exist.

Rosie Searle It's the kind of movie you'll want to see a second time with someone who hasn't seen it yet, to remember what it was like to watch it for the first time.

iceman88869 It had good atmosphere and the situation was nice and creepy, but then Rose McGowan starts ignorant social media hashtags as she progresses through the story which made me think it was a millennial "horror" movie. Before halfway through the movie, it still had me kinda interested, even with the millennial hashtag stuff. Then this cop shows up, his acting was all keeping one eye almost closed with an intense look his whole time on screen. It really started hard down hill after this guy shows up. Rose McGowan's wooden acting husband did not help. That guy could not act his way out of a wet paper bag. I have seen better acting in high school plays. Anyway. Around 1/3 way through the movie Christopher Lloyd shows up. I had hope he could help this movie, but basically, he does cameos. A total of like 5-7 minutes of screen time. Then the twist at the end and the ending were just stupid. For sure not the worst movie I have ever seen, but just not good.

Paul Magne Haakonsen I like horror and thrillers, but I had not even heard about "The Sound" prior to finding it by sheer random luck. Now, with a cast such as Rose McGowan and Christopher Lloyd in a horror movie, I was a bit hesitant. But I overcame this, because after all it is Christopher Lloyd after all."The Sound" is an incredibly slow paced movie with very little happening throughout the entire movie. And I am not exaggerating here.The storyline seems rather pointless to the point where the audience starts to slip through its fingers, and there isn't much of any worth to experienced here.The movie has a small cast, whom managed to do well enough with what little they had to work with in terms of script and storyline. It was odd, however, to see Christopher Lloyd in a movie such as this, but not that he faired ill or anything. No, he actually did quite well, considering the limitations of script and story.Not much of special effects throughout the movie, which was sort of alright I suppose, because this was hardly the type of horror movie that needed an overwhelming array of special effects to work out.

Michael Ledo Kelly Johansen (Rose McGowen) is a ghost debunker. She detects low level sounds which cause vibrations and lead to hallucinations. She is drawn to an abandoned subway in Toronto to investigate the ghost of a woman who committed suicide. Once she gets there the plot thickens as new information is suddenly thrown at us all in the effort to ruin a simple ghost story.This falls in line with the modern trend of having the debunker, i.e. person with no faith, change their mind. "1408" was the classic of this style. It maintained a simple plot. I liked the film, and then.. Hey Jenna Mattison, sometimes less is more.Apparently in Canada, there is no such thing as trespassing. Rose McGowan kept falling asleep during the film.Guide: no swearing, sex, or nudity
