It's easily one of the freshest, sharpest and most enjoyable films of this year.

I don't think I every wrote a negative review for IMDb, but this film certainly deserves it. I only watched it because it was on tv and Bruce Willis was in it. Turned out his role was rather insignificant. This movie is a complete waste of time. The moral of the story (not that there is any moral or much of a story): if you have a daughter who ran away and you want her back, you can legitimately kill dozens of people to get her back. Neither the story nor the actors impressed me at all. I would have liked to make an exception for Bruce, but sorry Bruce, not this time. The Prince? The Pauper, more likely.

Where do i even start. The main character's acting was horrible. He couldn't open his mouth without doing awkward bad actor movements, whilst having zero emotion in his voice and with dead eyes. With the very famous side characters bruce and john, i just can't understand why they chose this nobody as the lead character. His character showed no reason for us to even feel sorry for him. No matter how hard he tried, he just couldn't get the bad boy vibe. His daughter was a crackhead that we didn't get any reason to like whatsoever. The male lead has his daughter's college friend as his sidekick. There was some strange romantic vibe going on between them. Which is just very creepy. Her acting was terrible. She's pointless and just there as a transformers Megan fox copy. Bruce willis is the villain who gets like 10 minutes of screen time in total and is the only person to feel sorry for. Bruce looked like he put zero effort into this movie. John cusack probably got even less screen time and is completely pointless to the story. Seiously why was he there. Same as with Bruce, he clearly put no effort in.Now let's get to the only good part of the entire movie. Rain. The only interesting character. A mysterious well dressed killer who does the dirty work for Bruce. He suited the role very well, which was a happy surprise for me since i have only seen him in comedy before (Full House and some TV appearances). His English is far from flawless, but i thought he did a good job with pronouncing and sounding fairly natural despite that. He also looked the most natural with the gun.To sum it up, it's basically a bad version of Taken. The script is horrible and i can't put my finger on how, but the editing just seemed very weird and awkward. Don't waste your time on this movie. Unless you're a Jihoon fan. The just fast forward and watch his scenes.

I don't know where to begin with this movie, "awful" is too nice a word to say about this. Now I wasn't expecting this movie to be good, but at least bearable. We are tricked into thinking this is a Bruce Willis film. The cover will tell you, he's lead with an all star cast, including John Cusack. We also see 50 cent in this movie, albeit for 10 seconds. This is not the case. Our lead/hero is Jason Patrick, I see now why we had to be tricked. Patrick hasn't made a good film in his entire career. Willis is hardly in this film, Cusack even less and blink and you'll miss him, 50 Cent.We know Bruce Willis will do just about anything for a pay-check, and we fall for it, time and time again because of our love for die hard. I'm shocked to see John Cusack in this awful movie, as he is usually more selective with his films. The main problem with this film, no-one is believable with their performances. With the exception of Jessica Lowdes, who although had too much screen time for a character with little importance, gave us something to like about this film, (not just her looks). Too many cliché's, poor acting, poor storyline. This movie is a joke. A movie no-one will remember. Review 2/10

This movie is not horrible, but certainly not cinematic gold either. I'm going short for this review, because there ain't much to say.The story is, uhm, very straight forward. But we don't really need the story to be all that, in this kind of movie. The action is actually not bad. The shootouts are pretty good. There's real blank-firing guns, good sound design, blood-packets, the works. The action choreography is not exceptional, but alright.Bruce Willis, who's in the front on the cover, is not in it very much. John Cusack is on the cover, but also barely in it. Pretty obvious that these actors are mostly bait, to get people to see it. If Bruce Willis is in it, can't be all bad, right!? Well, yes it can, but this is OK.Jason Patric does a pretty good job as a bad ass, I think. Seems like he got some weapons training, he is believable or the most part.Movie is kind of reminiscent of Taken, although a lot weaker. We don't really care much about the characters. Take it for what it is, an action thriller with a couple of decent shoot outs, and you won't be too disappointed.
