A Masterpiece!
Jonah Abbott
There's no way I can possibly love it entirely but I just think its ridiculously bad, but enjoyable at the same time.

The movie turns out to be a little better than the average. Starting from a romantic formula often seen in the cinema, it ends in the most predictable (and somewhat bland) way.

The Pink Panther finds himself in a bind as a terrorist forces him to deliver a bomb to the Slobvanian Embassy at gunpoint. The panther reluctantly does as he was told, but his tactics have been foiled each time by a huge guard dog. But, some twists and turns in the ending that will let the terrorist get a taste of his own medicine. Some surprises and laughter here, and some action to boot as well. There's a little bit of suspense and thrills, as the Pink Panther is running against the clock to deliver the package. The cartoon could have used more comedy and gags, but overall, it's has a nice political thriller backdrop to it.Grade B

A winner for Pink Panther fans, one of his better cartoons from 1968. Pinky does what he does best, being cool, cute, likable and funny. His statue imitation agreed is not something to forget in the long run. The Pink Package Plot is colourfully animated and fluidly if simply drawn, advantaged also by vibrant music scoring and also that classic theme tune. The Pink Package Plot is never dull, and is quite possibly one of the least predictable and most inventive of the Pink Panther cartoons. You expect a Pink Panther cartoon to be entertaining and at least be funny, The Pink Package Plot is both those things and at its best moments are genuinely hilarious, never being less than amusing. All the gags are well-timed and make their mark. The ending rounds things off nicely. To conclude, everything a Pink Panther cartoon should be. Very entertaining, visually colourful and inventively constructed. 10/10 Bethany Cox

The Pink Panther has a dilemma: how to deliver a mysterious package to the Slobovian Embassy before 12 o'clock where there is a huge guard dog ready to tear him to bits. The panther was walking down the street in this nice residential area, minding his own business when a shady-looking characters calls him over. He hands our hero a note which says, "Will pay you 10,000 kopeks to deliver package to Slobovian Embassy." Our man declines but the guy pulls a gun of him, and gives him another note saying, "Deliver it before 12 o'clock....or else!" In addition, the PP hears ticking inside the box.The main gag of the cartoon is the Panthers efforts to get that package delivered and before 12. He goes through all kinds of lengths to carry this mission out, first encountering the dog and getting chased out, then trying to disguise himself as a kindly woman, tight-roping on telephone wires above the dog, catapulting the package (as time is running out and he hears more ticking), then catapulting himself with the package, on and on. It gets really wild and the dog is hilarious. The panther is funny, too, especially imitating a statue. I won't mention the ending. Overall, this is one of the more inventive Pink Panther cartoons and thoroughly enjoyable.
