The Oregonian Audience Reviews

Spoonatects Am i the only one who thinks........Average?
Dynamixor The performances transcend the film's tropes, grounding it in characters that feel more complete than this subgenre often produces.
Voxitype Good films always raise compelling questions, whether the format is fiction or documentary fact.
Gary The movie's not perfect, but it sticks the landing of its message. It was engaging - thrilling at times - and I personally thought it was a great time.
danieltuley No matter what movie you may be looking for, The Oregonian can satisfy your cinematic needs. Through the many twists, turns, and bloody pissing scenes, The Oregonian keeps you on the edge of your seat, never being able to guess what will happen next. Despite The Oregonian being labeled as a "movie" I know it is so much more. The Oregonian can be correctly labeled as "a gift from god that miraculously escaped from the grasps of heaven and fell into the hands of us pathetic undeserving mortals". The Oregonian is the epitome of perfection and ultimate supremacy as no other movie even comes close to gracing the almighty transcendence that is The Oregonian. I had to take a break in the middle of writing this review solely to thank God for showing mercy upon my undeserving soul and allowing me to experience this piece of art first hand. The only bad thing about this movie is that now I cannot go about my days without worrying that I might be smitten down for watching a movie that I was so undeserving of. In all, if you feel that you are ready (you aren't) to experience this beautiful work of art, then go right ahead and experience this life- altering movie first hand. I guarantee you will not be disappointed.
carsonlail If you're on the hunt for an enlightening, quality family film, The Oregonian is your answer. Never before have i seen a cinema so eye- opening and educational. Its film quality, dialogue, and story line are just a few of the qualities that cause me to put The Oregonian at #1 on my top ten movies list. If you're looking for excitement, just wait until you meet grandma, mummy man, green monster and the rest of the Oregon gang. I am sure they will show you a jolly good time. Have you ever seen a man pee rainbows? i bet not. This movie has that, along with more twists and turns than a roller-coaster hand job. This phenomenal motion picture causes a questioning of everything you once believed in and can make you re-evaluate your life. In my eyes, the green monster and the Movie itself are our saviors. It is sure to make a positive impact on you and leave a content smile upon your face. I recommend that you watch this movie with your woman and a couple of gasoline margaritas. Sit back and let grandma work her magic.
colin-mcguire Throughout the very confusing and almost non existent plot, there are few words ever exchanged by any of the characters and this leaves the audience to make their own depiction of what is truly going on in this movie. A common phrase is seen throughout the movie though, it appears on a picture and a tattoo on the hippie, it says "Live it". I feel as though this is the common theme throughout the movie, it is simple and leaves a lot of room for interpretation. Not knowing her name or where she came from, the main character makes some questionable choices about who she trusts and who she travels along with. But just like the main character, we have no idea what the future holds for us and it is the uncertainty that is most frightening to most people. The phrase "Live it" is a great way to think of how you should live your life, don't hold back or you could miss out on something life changing.
greenoe43 The Oregonian is a tragic telling of a woman who gets in a car wreck in the middle of nowhere and tries to find her way to help. She comes across many individuals throughout her journey that bring her down different paths and show her a certain way of life. What the movie represents is life itself and the different paths we can go down on that journey. The girl herself resembles death as she is constantly shown in a red plaid shirt and covered in blood. Several times she attempts to wipe off the blood with water, but the red blood continues to reappear on her face which could show her attempt to escape from death. The red that she is surrounded foreshadows the path she chose as death came before her. The green that often appears with the green monster thing and the green room she goes through shows the path of life that she had the option of going down. In a later scene it is shown of her in the green monsters costume beating a man with a pipe. This ensues to her being covered in blood and the mixture of the colors green and red, or the two roads of life and death. One of the last scenes where the girl is seen having an omelet shoved into her represents fertility and her lack of such quality. This idea of fertility can be brought around to one of the earlier scenes where the girl's husband gets mad at her for having an affair, which can be assumed to have been brought up to her lack of fertility. We also see the idea of infertility when the man makes eggs and leaves the cracked eggs in the toilet for the girl to see. With this being said, The Oregonian is a horrifying experience of one girl's path of life or death and the influence her infertility had on that choice.
