Ok... Let's be honest. It cannot be the best movie but is quite enjoyable. The movie has the potential to develop a great plot for future movies

The acting is good, and the firecracker script has some excellent ideas.

I actually enjoyed this film. I thought the movie had a good idea to it Terry lofton explains why the film seemed so bad to critics cause of the script was 80 pages then dropped to 35 pages and the actors of the film were really nobody's ,but you get that with low budget horror films. The movie was good on 80's gore and had your classic goofy jokes total 80's film. So if you are a fan of slasher films this movie is perfect to watch plus the women in it are VA VA boom sexy. I do admit I wish they would re make this film hey they might everything else is being remade. Being a fan of this film I give it 10 bloody fingers up. I suggest that anyone who wants to check this film out needs to buy the special editon of this film and really watch it with a group of friends . It will leave you in stitches.

A biker-outfitted clad, hearse driving killer searches for the construction workers (and those associated with them) who gang-raped a girl earlier in the film. The vigilante's weapon of choice is, in keeping with the name of the movie, a nail gun. She (or he) also spouts some truly awful one-liners as he (she) offs the victims. Also an inept cop and inane doctor are searching for the murderer/revenge killer. That's pretty much it story-wise.Man oh man is this a bad BAD movie. Atrocious acting, dreadfully unfunny quips from the killer (whose voice is synthesized to keep the supposed 'mystery' of who it is), a script my dog could write, el cheapo gore 'special effects'. This is strictly amateur hour in every single connotation of the word. For something similar, yet a billion times better, do yourself a favor and rent "the Toolbox Murders" instead (the original NOT the remake) Eye Candy: Staci Gordon & Kit Mitchell get topless (Kit is also topless in the DVD outtakes); Shelly York shows tits & a bit of bush (word of caution: John Rudder shows his ass and penis) My Grade: D- Synapse DVD Extras: A 25 minute interview with Director Terry Loften; an 8 & a half minute outtake reel (with no film audio but with comments from the director) ; & Promotional trailer for this film

From the title and tagline (which, by the way, is one of the main reasons I got myself a copy of this film), it's clear that Nail Gun Massacre takes influence from a certain other power tool lead massacre. The film also kicks off with a rape, which is clearly the reason for all the nail gun killings; but anyone going into Nail Gun Massacre expecting something along the lines of a crossover between The Texas Chainsaw Massacre and I Spit on Your Grave is likely to be sorely disappointed as not only is this film the cheap mess it's reputed to be; it also doesn't feature many good killings either, which kind of cancels out any reason for seeing it. Still, it's actually not as bad as it could have been. As mentioned, the film kicks off with a scene that sees a young girl raped by a load of construction workers. Some time passes and suddenly there's a combats wearing motorcyclist with a voice obscurer and an awful looking old-fashioned nail gun. He/she has a grudge too, and soon he gets to work on picking off all the construction workers (and some other people) that committed the crime. My all time favourite melee horror film weapon is definitely the chainsaw, and while this film couldn't afford to have the murderer using one; the nail gun could have been a decent replacement if used well. Unfortunately, most of the kill scenes consist of showing us the nail gun, a sound that sounds a bit like a nail gun, and then the unlucky victim flailing around with nails stuck in them. The plotting not much better either, as the entire film mainly consists of scenes like this loosely strung together. Despite this disappointment, I'd still hesitate to call this a truly bad film. Nail Gun Massacre does have a certain charm to it that keeps it from becoming completely boring and while it gets repetitive, it is amusing for most of the duration. The killer is a pretty stupid creation and fails miserably to generate any kind of dread. The nail gun he uses fits the character...but that isn't a good thing! Overall, I cant really recommend this film as there's a great deal of similar ones out there that are a lot better, but if you're a cult film fan you'll probably want to see this for it's reputation...and you could do worse.

After a bunch of construction workers rape a woman, the men start getting 'nailed' by some vengeful killer carrying a nail gun.Cheap and trashy all the way, Nail Gun Massacre has to be one of the worst excuses for a horror film ever. Our villain is laughably un-scary, as he makes corny, distorted jokes during every murder! The characters are completely wooden, the plot is non-existing, and the quality of this movie basically consists of one sex scene after another with the occasional unconvincing murder. Granted though, it does have one of the better murder-during-sex scenes of the slasher genre.Only for those who love movies that look like they were shot in someone's backyard, or in the director's case his grandmother's general store. Grandma cameos as a store clerk reading a lame movie script.BOMB out of ****
