Deanna There are moments in this movie where the great movie it could've been peek out... They're fleeting, here, but they're worth savoring, and they happen often enough to make it worth your while.

"The Making of 'The X Files: Fight the Future'" is a 27-minute documentary from almost 20 years ago that gives us a behind-the-scenes look into "The X Files", the series and the film as well. There are interviews with the 2 lead actors and also with directors, composers etc. The narrator is one of the major supporting actors from the show. All in all, it is basically what you would expect from such a making-of documentary. Still, something was missing for me. I have watched neither the series nor the film and this little documentary did not get me interested to do so anytime soon I must say. This is also why I believe that this one here is really only worth seeing for big fans already. The lengthy elaboration on the bee scene for example just does not do anything in order to inspire to watch this. Nothing too memorable to see here, even if it may serve as a nice introduction to the new "X-Files" episodes. Thumbs down.
