Price, a former hitman, is struggling to cope with retirement. He left the assassination business to live the "easy life." However, retirement arrived with its own agenda. It was not the instant peace and calm that Price expected. Rather, it was emptiness, boredom, and, worst of all, restlessness. The Last Lullaby plummets Price back into his old life and forces him into a corner from which he may never escape. Price's old ways no longer work for him when his heart opens, and he finds life beyond his profession. The tension finally boils, as Price must decide to close himself off again or open himself up to a world beyond his control.

The Last Lullaby Audience Reviews

Jeanskynebu the audience applauded
Matrixiole Simple and well acted, it has tension enough to knot the stomach.
Hayden Kane There is, somehow, an interesting story here, as well as some good acting. There are also some good scenes
Hattie I didn’t really have many expectations going into the movie (good or bad), but I actually really enjoyed it. I really liked the characters and the banter between them.
kenneth-gene-williams It started a little slow but built intensity as the film progressed. I think this is what gave the movie real and believable feel. I am no film critic but this is one of the best movies I have seen in awhile. Of course it was the type of film I enjoy, a thriller that keeps you entertained yet guessing until the very end. You were able to really empathize with the characters and get a real sense of what they are going through. The movie transformed me to "that place". How many films do you know that actually do that? This is a first attempt at a feature length film? Wow. Most blockbusters from Hollywood don't make you think at all. It is like most of them are geared toward the 6 year old mind. (ie. Jurrasic Park and movies with the huge special effects budget don't do anything but give you that "oh cool" factor and can be summed up in 3 minutes.) This movie can be enjoyed from a thinkers perspective. And Goodman makes you think a little. You are able to get more out of it the more you mentally dig into the characters.I really enjoyed this movie. Really.
jjones9331 Saw this movie in Dallas at the AFI. . . would see it again! My guess is that one of the challenges the director (and writers) had to overcome was in making we,the viewers, feel empathy for such a despicable man . . . but not far into the movie, I found myself wanting to like him, wanting his life to be better, and wanting to see "the good" in him. Goodman drew me into that without my really knowing it! And though there was violence in the film, thank you, Goodman, for not wallowing in it. . . we got it and you moved on. What a breath of fresh air! I also appreciated the choice of music used to underscore the film. The actors were believable and very well cast. I hope to have an opportunity to see this film again.
topazstreet I loved the movie. Tom Sizemore was fantastic and supported equally by Sasha Alexander. The story was carried onward by the superb closeups of the two main characters, almost without dialog. The facial expressions and body language of Sizemore and Alexander kept me intrigued and stimulated throughout the movie. The movie is beautifully shot by the cinematographer. The soft colors were pleasing to the eye with the slow pacing of the film and closeups of the main characters.I also loved the background music that flowed along with the story. There was no loud and distracting music to disrupt the wonderful pacing of the story by director, Jeffrey Goodman. It is hard to believe that this is his first direction of a full length film.I give The Last Lullaby the highest rating and recommend the film as a must see.
labear2 I loved the movie...very intense and full of action, yet with the true feel of the characters life story. The cinematography is great. The beauty of the outdoors was brought to life.Director Jeffrey Goodman did an excellent job of not being graphic with the story line. The entire movie kept you waiting for the next "thriller". I don't think Mr. Goodman could have done a better job in bringing this short story into a full film for the public to enjoy.Editor Phillip Harrison did a superb job in the editing of the close up shots of Price and Sarah learning each other and working to bring each of their lives into play..and to decide how the "situation" would be revealed. This is a very effective and hard hitting thriller right down to the director and stars.
