It's Rob Zombie's Birthday (12 January), so i celebrated by watching his adult animated horror comedy film which is based on his comic books. Featuring star studded voice cast - Tom Papa, Sheri Moon Zombie, Paul Giamatti, Rosario Dawson, Brian Posehn, Tom Kenny, Dee Wallace, Ken Foree, Danny Trejo, Bill Moseley, Sid Haig, Daniel Roebuck, Clint Howard, Geoffrey Lewis, Tura Santana and more. It's hilarious from start to finish. It's also in the vein of Ralph Bakshi movies and like Spongebob in a filthy way. I think this flick is more for hardcore fans and not for the sensitive ones. This cartoon is definitely not for children!!!

If you expect something that is intelligent please go back to watching your average cartoon.Smooth, fluid and stylish animation does not hide this strange cartoons weird illustrations. However the voice acting is fantastic, great timing and sense of style.Fun soundtrack and zany visuals put this in a similar category to Drawn together and other dark parodies. Some sections appear like they are straight from a underground forum or viral video's.Rob Z has done a fantastic job.9/10

I can take or leave Rob Zombie. Some of his movies like "House of 1000 Corpses" and "Devils Rejects" were tons of fun. On the other hand his remake of "Halloween" just put the zombie spin on a classic that was better in its original form. So I had an open mind when I started to watch (I say this because I stopped watching half way through) El Superbesto. This is a boring cartoon with obvious gags and gratuitous sex and violence in cartoon form that starts to put you to sleep after the first 10 times that it's done in the movie. Basically, this is Cartoon Network with a "R" rating and it bored me to death (in fact I actually put on Cartoon Network afterward so I could watch some quality animation. Rob stick with the horror and leave the animation and comedy to the professionals.

At one gag...The rest of the gags weren't that funny. Ren and Stimpy weren't funny, and neither was this, despite the addition of gratuitous sex, violence, gore and zombies. (Nazi Zombies, no less. I think this is the fifth or sixth movie I've seen with "Nazi Zombies" as a joke.) The cover for the DVD says "Not for kids", which is understandable. They should have marked it "Not for anybody". Just when I thought I couldn't find Rosario Dawson more annoying than I already do, she ups it as a smack-talking stripper. There were a lot of references to other movies, all of which were much better. THat implies that the writers actually have SEEN good horror movies, they just didn't understand them.
