How the heck can Hollywood take a great series of books and take the first book and make it into a 1 hour and 35 minute movie. Even Stephen King said the movie should have been a HBO mini series not a short movie that made no sense. Unless you read the books which I have the characters made no sense. You can't expect these actors to try and help you through a movie. The script was bad the movie had a direction before the movie started. Get to the end as fast as we can.

Expected a flat movie but saw a interesting story, great acting and awesome special effects

It would have needed to be 2.5 hrs long or longer but the novels had so much more to add to the screen Adaptation. I ( unlike many) loved the casting. Alba worked as Gunslinger for me.
