Disappointment for a huge fan!

It is not deep, but it is fun to watch. It does have a bit more of an edge to it than other similar films.

I was thoroughly impressed with the storyline and the ending was superb. Kirk Ponton gave a riveting performance as Gruver. I'm looking forward to the sequel. The emotion of the film takes on a roller-coaster ride. I was impressed with Patrick Pierre and Adriana Gittens vision. This was a film full of sequences that challenged Hollywood film-making and made a statement. It was unpredictable and each character brought a different perspective to a crime drama. There were so many memorable sequences. I hope they do a sequel to this exceptional film. I think Parick Pierre is serving notice to Hollywood and letting people know he's a director to watch. This film goes against the grain of genre that has become mundane. It takes it to the limit and makes you think.

Urban slice of life about Gruver who tries to take back his territory and more after serving several years in jail for drug dealing.Mean nasty, and often "dull" in the way that real life is (I mean that as a compliment since this has the small moments that aren't always action packed). This is a good little film about life in the drug trade. It feels real, as to whether or not it really is is beyond my ability to tell but it feels real and gritty in away that most urban crime drama never are. Watching the scenes play out and how the characters interact I was struck at times by how true to life it all seemed. This is how people really do behave.Worth a look if you're in the mood for a low budget slice of life.

This was an excellent film!! It captures the rough times, drug wars and territorial beef in inner city urban neighborhoods and was displayed enthusiastically. The actors put on great convincing performances. All pictures, lighting and sound qualities were excellent for it to be an Indy film. Much props to the entire crew. Excellent job from the writer/director from Trenton, NJ Patrick Pierre. As well as Adrianna Gittens, co-writer. She did a fantastic job with the female characters. Pierre Films will definitely be back with more drama and more excitement in the near future. Look forward to seeing more from Pierre and Gittens, together and/or separate. These filmmakers will be making a lot of noise in the coming years.
