The film creates a perfect balance between action and depth of basic needs, in the midst of an infertile atmosphere.

There is, somehow, an interesting story here, as well as some good acting. There are also some good scenes

A terrific literary drama and character piece that shows how the process of creating art can be seen differently by those doing it and those looking at it from the outside.

SA Bates is the new "King of Cool." He combines the raw sexuality and quiet confidence of McQueen and takes viewers on a magic carpet ride they will not soon forget.Bates forces Harris flee into fleeing east towards the Carribbean where Moore falls right into Bates's trap. Bates is too modest to take credit for it, but Moore never had a chance with Bates pulling the strings. Although the movie is about Moore, it is Bates the viewer wants to know more about. Where does he live? What kind of car does he drive? Who is the lucky lady who is married to him and is the marriage an open one? Smart, tall, urbane and deliciously bald, Bates has a new career in Hollywood if he ever tires of chasing bad guys.

Well, Mr. Harris Moore might have stolen our hearts, but it is Mr. Bates that ends up stealing the show.Fans of the Barefoot Bandit will perhaps be disappointed by this movie, which tells us very little about our young hero's life and how he came to develop his supernatural powers. However, fans of SPECIAL AGENT PHIL BATES are in for quite a treat! His charisma just explodes through the screen, and we are left in a smiling daze, heart bursting with the desire to see more, more, more.To sum up: if you are a fan of special agent Phil Bates, RUN, don't walk, to the nearest screening of this documentary! Bring some popcorn, and enjoy the ride!

For those of you who have read the Rolling Stone piece on the barefoot bandit, this film is a must watch.Colton Harris-Moore was a notorious young airplane thief. A young boy's dream of flying and designing airplanes becomes a reality when he breaks out of a halfway house at the age of 15 and steals the first of five airplanes. Carly Bodmer provides an intimate look at this barefoot bandit, his family members and the life that surrounded him. There are a series of strong interviews with the FBI and many others. I would recommend this film highly.
