I think this is a new genre that they're all sort of working their way through it and haven't got all the kinks worked out yet but it's a genre that works for me.

Clever, believable, and super fun to watch. It totally has replay value.

A film with more than the usual spoiler issues. Talking about it in any detail feels akin to handing you a gift-wrapped present and saying, "I hope you like it -- It's a thriller about a diabolical secret experiment."

It’s fine. It's literally the definition of a fine movie. You’ve seen it before, you know every beat and outcome before the characters even do. Only question is how much escapism you’re looking for.

Superpower takes a broad view from history and brings the focus to current times. It would be a good movie to use to supplement classes in school studying history or political science. The people interviewed are well-respected in their fields. I find it amazing that so many well-known people agreed to be interviewed. The importance of what they said is timely and should be seen by anyone who is concerned about US foreign policy and the future of our republic. I found the information disturbing, but as Americans we need to be aware of our own history and find the courage to change. While there are dark truths told through this film, these are balanced by the glimmers of hope from people who tried to make a difference as an inspiration to future generations.
