ThiefHott Too much of everything
RipDelight This is a tender, generous movie that likes its characters and presents them as real people, full of flaws and strengths.
Nayan Gough A great movie, one of the best of this year. There was a bit of confusion at one point in the plot, but nothing serious.
Portia Hilton Blistering performances.
vonronge It's got the plot from a bad Ninja Turtles episode with Captain Planet quality dialog and Samurai Pizza Cats animation. Top all that with a plain Jane version of Harley quin and Nicolas Cage in National Treasure level acting. The worst of all worlds. A five year old with brain damage might like it.
anmael Decent character driven stories. There were definitely some times where it seemed like the writers got a bit lazy though. For instance, the Squad have a philosophical discussion about how all of the evil they have done and the lives they have takes would likely condemn them all to hell, then immediately thereafter Killer Frost Freezes a security guard to get into a building and for no real reason Harley walks up and knocks his frozen head off, like the conversation about redemption never happened. What was even funnier was when DeadShot said after the next action scene that so far they hadn't killed anyone...huh? People were being killed left and right in this thing...Also, Copperhead is fighting to win the day near the end and Waller blows him up with his implanted explosive as collateral damage to get Killer Frost. This didn't even give the team pause that Waller treated him as so expendable that in the service of HER goals while fighting for HER cause, he was used as just a disposable weapon. It seemed as though they should all have assumed they would be next. That REALLY seemed lazy...Entertaining, but could have used another once-over for logical continuity:)
scott_dunning Blood, gore, death, headshots, exploding heads, razor cuts, male strippers, lesbians making out, you would think a movie that has all this would be set for the more mature comics fan. Unfortunately not. This movie feels like it was written by a 13yr old who probably felt cool because he got to swear and put in adult material. What really irked me was the Flashpoint Paradox tie-in. Flashpoint Paradox was dark and gritty and felt like it was more realistic (good doesn't always triumph) whereas this movie had none of that appeal. Really disappointed.
Roberto Ortega Viacava So disappointing that Knockout, who can survive an atomic explosion, got wounded by..bullets! No mask, no big smile, Wonder Woman like costume and worst of all, freckles!
