MattyGibbs Wading through Lovefilm this film stuck out as having an interesting premise although i'd never heard of it. It starts pretty slowly and I was beginning to give up hope but once the 'accident' occurs it really picks up. It's certainly a novel idea and different to most other films out there. It's hard to categorise the film - it has elements of thriller, horror, comedy and drama and as a result it does feel a little uneven at times. However it does at least hold your interest.Mena Savuri is excellent as the nurse who accidentally runs over a down an out, that is once you get used to her ridiculous hairstyle. There is adequate back up from the rest of the cast. Overall it's a decent watch but nothing particularly special. Worth one watch if your at a lose end.

billcr12 Tom(Stephen Rea) has lost his job, been thrown out of his apartment and is minding his business, walking along his merry way, and bam, a woman, Brandi(Mena Suvari), drivers her car into him, and as a result he gets stuck in her windshield. Mena's life was, up to this point, was going great; so awaiting a promotion at work she celebrates with a few drinks which would be a major problem with the law, and so she drives home to hide her car in the garage with Tommy boy sticking from the glass. The suffering victim does not die from his injuries and when Brandi goes back to check on him, with her boyfriend Rashid, they discover that he has freed himself, so the fun loving couple decide to kill him.Stuck then turns almost keystone black comedy with the three battling each other with pens, hammers, guns and anything available with which to do each other harm. The film is supposedly based on a true story making it even more entertaining.

Wizard-8 Going around these user comments and outside reviews, I see that some people have labelled "Stuck" as something of a black comedy. Actually, I didn't see it that way. While the movie does have a share of darkly humorous moments, I felt most of the movie was treated straight, as a thriller. And as a thriller, I really enjoyed this movie. The performances are top notch, especially Russell Hornsby playing the boyfriend who talks tough but turns out to be otherwise. There is a lot of suspense as we wonder throughout if the unlucky protagonist will get out of his painful and unfortunate situation or not. Although the movie does seem a little stretched out at times, and the ending is somewhat abrupt, the movie is never boring and will keep you watching until the end.

Marjeez Running at around 85 minutes, this is the perfect rental from the director of 'Re-Animator'. Stuck has an interesting plot and an impressive film to back it up. Mena, a young NA (hey, that's my job too!) decides to get high during a party. On the ride home, she hits a bum pushing his kart. He is stuck through the window, and she panics and decides to drive home. In her garage, she notices that he is still very much alive.The acting was a surprise considering I can't name any of these actors, who did I fine job giving a realistic feel to Stuck. The dark humor is plentiful but never feels forced, and trust me when I say this; you will look away at parts. Filmmakers of the horror genre should take note, the gore is there and it'll make you feel squeamish. It has the feel of an indie but the quality of a much larger film. This is a grade-A B-movie.Never in a million years did I think I would enjoy this movie as much as I did. It has many different genres in mind, but they all manage to blend together to create something special.
