Strip Nude for Your Killer Audience Reviews

AniInterview Sorry, this movie sucks
Moustroll Good movie but grossly overrated
CommentsXp Best movie ever!
Fatma Suarez The movie's neither hopeful in contrived ways, nor hopeless in different contrived ways. Somehow it manages to be wonderful
Scott LeBrun "Strip Nude for Your Killer" is one Giallo that lives up to that lascivious title. To say that it's trashy is an understatement. Yet, it's also as stylish as any in the genre, even artfully done, with great use of lighting. The story deals with brutal murders of those connected with a modelling agency, after one of the models dies during an abortion. A charming sleaze ball photographer, Carlo (Nino Castelnuovo), becomes determined to unmask the killer, who wields a mean knife and wears a motorcycle helmet (as does the killer in the American slasher "Night School" six years later).Director Andrea Bianchi, whose story was the basis for Massimo Felisattis' screenplay, sure gets down to business right away, as we get delectable nudity RIGHT as the movie starts. After that he continues to deliver the sleazy goods, especially as the stunning Femi Benussi as aspiring model Lucia Serrazini does the full frontal thing for an extended amount of time.Granted, this movie slows down a little too much at times and lets some scenes go on longer than necessary, in particular the scene where bumbling, corpulent Maurizio Montani (Franco Diogene) tries to coerce Doris (Erna Schurer) to have sex with him. However, in one critical scene where Magda Cortis (Edwige Fenech) is terrorized at the agency, Bianchi keeps the suspense going and going, to the point where some of us may be screaming for Magda to move faster, but also to the point that when the killer pounces, it does come as a genuine shock. The movie is also appreciably played with a bit of humour, a lot of it coming from the pathetic Maurizio. It works pretty well as a murder mystery, with the identity of the killer not readily predictable. The ladies are all absolutely ravishing, from Schurer to Amanda as Gisella Montani to Benussi to Solvi Stubing as Patrizia to Giallo superstar Fenech, who's compelling as the photographer who does have what it takes to be a model.Overall, this is a solid example of the genre that does, at the very least, appeal to all of us in a very sordid way.Seven out of 10.
cmoitze This can't even be called a movie, as there was really no plot to speak of. Just a killer in a motorcycle helmet dispatching naked women, interspersed with people having sex at every opportunity.I don't have a problem with nudity or sex, far from it, but it should take place within the context of the movie and make sense. In one scene an obese man threatens a woman with a glass vase and demands sex, only for her to comply as if nothing out of the ordinary had happened, and they begin to chat away happily! I can't find a single positive thing to say about this movie. The characterization is non existent, the dialog is appalling, there is zero plot development, inappropriate incidental music and no suspense whatsoever. This is far and away the worst Giallo I have seen, and I have viewed at least 40, being a fan of the genre. Avoid this movie, even if you are a fan of this genre. 1 star for the fact Edwige Fenech was in it. Appalling.
Michael_Elliott Strip Nude for Your Killer (1975) *** (out of 4) Ultra sleazy and rather perverted giallo starts off with a woman getting an abortion performed on her but she suffers cardiac arrest and dies. The doctor gets help to place her in the bathtub to make it look like an accident. Soon afterwards the doctor is brutally murdered and then people from the woman's model agency are slashed by a mysterious person in black.STRIP NUDE FOR YOUR KILLER has a terrific title and the film itself lives up to it. Director Andrea Bianchi is best known for the insane BURIAL GROUND but this here is a very good entry into the subgenre that fans should really enjoy. It should go without saying but the mystery itself is pretty strong and there's no question that there's enough sleaze here for three movies. It's clear that Bianchi doesn't have a filter in regards to taste because you know when a movie opens with an abortion and it's not the most tasteless thing you're in for a wild ride.I think the sleaze is what really makes this film stand apart. Again, the actual mystery is pretty good but it's the fact that everyone is constantly taking their clothes off that makes this film so memorable. It seems like every female in this movie has to take their clothes off at least once and you're certainly not going to hear me complain about this. The sleaze also continues with the violent as there's your typical stabbings with knives but the last couple murders are extremely graphic and memorable.Nino Castelnuovo and Edwige Fenech are the couple who are trying to solve the case and both of them are good in their roles and certainly help keep things entertaining. Femi Benussi nearly steals the film in her slut role, which has her totally naked the few scenes that she does have. The supporting players are all nice as well. As you'd expect from a giallo, the 2.35:1 cinematography is good as is the music score that sets the perfect setting. If you're a fan of giallos then STRIP NUDE FOR YOUR KILLER is certainly at the top of the genre.
Scarecrow-88 The Milan fashion world is rocked by a serial killer, wearing leather gear and motorcycle helmet, stab-killing those involved with Albatross studio..it coincides with the unfortunate accidental death of a model receiving an illegal abortion. Carlo Bianchi(Nino Castelnuovo)is a very successful photographer enjoying the sexual kicks you receive from being a big-shot in the industry. He literally beds one gal he suckers into a sauna not but shortly after meeting her, promising of a healthy career as a model(..naked nearly the entire film, Femi Benussi shows she's unafraid to bare it all for the audience for almost her total screen time), but she'll, like others, gets stabbed multiple times after discovering the water faucets running in her employer-to-be Gisella Montani's(Amanda)abode. The constant with all these killings revolve around Gisella..her heavy impotent husband(Franco Diogene), her homo-sexual photographer Mario(Claudio Pellegrini), and eventually herself are targets for the mysterious homicidal maniac. Gisella is also being black-mailed by someone in her inner circle(..of the remaining still alive). Others will follow as Magda Cortis(Edwige Fenech, whose character is an apprentice to Carlo)and Carlo become civilian detectives with their own lives endangered in the process. As mentioned in practically every user comment, "Strip Nude for Your Killer" lives up to it's lurid title. Ample nudity from uninhibited actresses, the lives of those associated with the fashion world(..particularly those who will do anything to gain success and fame)are skewered and every character in the film embellishes in sex and hedonism. Fenech delivers the usual tasty nudity and looks fantastic even with a short hair cut. Her lover Carlo is the complete anti-hero, he treats Magda like a sex toy, even choking her not once but twice. He was one of those who left the dead model's body left in a tub with running water(..the image of this dead model is displayed quickly before every murder scene takes place with the director letting the viewer know that this is the motivation behind the stabbings). The stabbings themselves are often gushing wounds, but the final attacks show the aftermath of a castration and breast removal, pretty potent, shocking stuff. There's even some sad humor portraying Gisele's portly husband(..who is quite a danger driving on the roads of Milan with director Bianchi's camera following with a POV shot of the car passing through endless traffic, red lights, and even threatening civilians walking on the streets)as a clown in heat who can not deliver in the clutch. Nice job by Blue Underground bringing giallo fans a print of true quality and the film looks great..with good use of color and sound photography, Bianchi really provides the film with style. Yet, this isn't particularly any different than the endless chain of gialli circling the market, so to combat this Bianchi put naked flesh across the screen almost through the film's entirety. This giallo does have your typical wacky twist revealing why this killer is so viciously killing his/her victims, but this time, the revelation might be underwhelming considering it's a person who isn't as significantly drawn as other characters in the plot. This is indeed a true treat for those with an appreciation for smut. Film suffers for not having a likable character to root for, but Fenech once again portrays the endangered character in pursuit(..and being pursued)of the killer.
