Although I seem to have had higher expectations than I thought, the movie is super entertaining.

It is an exhilarating, distressing, funny and profound film, with one of the more memorable film scores in years,

This is one of the best movies I’ve seen in a very long time. You have to go and see this on the big screen.

This was a good movie... Had a "Strike Back" feel to it, of which I am a fan as well. There was action and military spy type of drama. It was enjoyable and I truly dont understand the harsh criticism. Definitely worth a watch.

I wasted 1:34 mins of my precious life for this, everything was crap. I should have gone to sleep with my wife when she told me to!!! For the love of God do not watch.

The SBS save London from a terrorist with a large drone and plenty of WMD bio weaponry that could kill 100,000. And that is the plot, its a very chilling plot line if you care to think about it. But in this pulp movie from a series of pulp paper backs no time is taken for any real plot or character development as the movie is happy to play out as a series of high octane car chases, boat chases and shoot outs with the bad guys, very much second best. More over the lead charterer Sargent Stratton of the SBS played lifelessly by Dominic Cooper who just seems to light weight to play any kind of James Bond, though i always felt that Audie Murphy was one of the very least convincing of cowboy hero's, yet the truth was that he was a hugely decorated war hero in real life. The thing is that the movies are an illusion and Danial Craig can carry it off, Dominic Cooper rather less so.I did enjoy the chase along the River Thames though.

I think reviewers are being a little harsh about this film. It's an action thriller featuring the SBS, MI6 etc. Mainly British cast with a couple of token Americans. Gemma Chan is superb, with a different actress her role wouldn't be memorable but she really helps things along. Derek Jacobi, unsurprisingly good. Unlike many reviews, I think Dominic Cooper did a good job, especially given the lack of time he had to prepare for this. Connie Nielsen however was an odd choice, her posh British accent varied in intensity and felt awkward. You can't compare this to a big budget Bond/Bourne/Mission Impossible, but I found it entertaining.
