Direction: Again, Excellent and Perfect direction by Neeraj Pandey has made it watchable again and again and again..............................3. Acting: Akshay Kumar, Manoj Bajpayee, jimmy sheirgill and Anupam Kher with a very large number of supporting casts has done it!!!!!! 4.Cinematography & Background score: Remember, It is a PERIOD film. so the role of Cinematographer is very important to feel the audience that it actually happens in 1987. And the Background score is another key point to the film which feels the thrill that what is going.I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS TO ANY HUMAN BEING AROUND THE WORLD

Written n directed by Neeraj Pandey (A Wednesday). Cinematography by Bobby Singh (Gangster, Life in a Metro). Edited by Shree Narayan Singh (a Wednesday- excellent job in that film but don't know y he dint cut the romance angle from this flick). The film takes its foundations from the robbery of 19 March 1987, when 26 people posing as income tax officials raided a jewellery store in Opera House, Mumbai. Nice thriller marred by bad n unnecessary romance angle. Nevertheless, I enjoyed this movie. Akshay was OK. Can't act. Anupam stole the limelight. He was too good in this film. Perfect Indian heist film. Loved it man. Akshay shud do more films like these n avoid baby, houseful n holiday kinda films. Manoj bajpai was excellent as usual. Even Shergill acted well. Good attention was paid in detail (very rare to see in Indian films), good character building. Best was the cat-and-mouse chase between the conmen and the police. Nice twist.

The film is inspired by the 1987 Opera House heist where a group posing as Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) officers executed an income tax raid on the jeweler in Mumbai. Special 26 released on February 5, 2013 to widespread critical acclaim and was regarded as one of the best films of 2013

I have seen the movie with lots of expectations. I am amused. .... AKSHAY got his character so nicely .... multi-talented ANUPAM KHER .... did his job .... acting was the fuel for this movie .... screening .... direction by NEERAJ ...... liked it ... love it .... from my views ... I could say from the beginning of the year to July ..... SPECIAL CHABBIS ... is the 3rd best for the Bollywood industry ... 2013 ..... expectation fulfilled ... well done for the music .... PUNJABI music attached me with its resonance... Last but not the least .... MANOJ BAJPEI .... did awesome ..... reminding me a talented officer ...... his talent reflects on his acting .... I cant remember the lead female role .... she was nice .... and absolutely have no over acting like others ........ sweet romance ... enjoyed it .... Comedy ... after a long time .... I actually laughed at the comedy thriller .... audition arrangement was so good that .... I have review the scenes quite a more .... Overall .... its a noticeable contribution from NEERAJ and AKSHAY ...
