Just becasue a film may be the worst in the franchise doesn't automatically make it bad - words to live by when approaching this film.Really, this film is a decent laugh with car chases aplenty and the charm of Jerry Reed. It's all silly, like why would Snowman even pretend to be the Bandit in the first place, but it's a hugely enjoyable piece of trash that is perfect for a lazy Sunday afternoon, or even just a Smokey binge in general.The star of course is the magnificent Jackie Gleason, and quite frankly he's just as good here as in the previous two films. The banter between him and junior combined with Gleason's delivery is still great, and he can carry the film perfectly well for what it is.Yes there is a noticeable lack of the Hal Needham touch, but really, don't let the purists drag you down. It's not a great film, but it's fun and there's plenty here to keep you entertained. for an hour and a half.Smokey & The Bandit isn't high cinema, it's low brow, grassroots entertainment made for fun and excitement. This film fits in nicely with that.

This movie's the best. I loved the first two, but seeing Jerry Reed as the Bandit is a real treat. I love how they humorously had Cledus take over the Bandit's role. That was the perfect way to use a different It actor and keep with the humor of the first two. I know people complain about sequels, but I'm really happy they made a third picture show. I bet this one is like the original they planned. . . before Burt Reynolds signed on and when Jerry Reed was still cast as the bandit.

This movie is one of the ugliest movie i've ever seen.Acting from almost all cast are awful. The plot story not clear, I don't get any point from this movie.Maybe this is comedy movie but honestly I almost never laugh or smile from the 1st.Smokey part 1 & 2 for me also not too good but at least there is Burt Reynold in that movie.Where they got the producer, director, writer? Watching this movie I feel like watching for kid's movie. But many kid's movie are better than this movieI give 2 out of 10 but actually I want to give 1 at 1st.

Smokey and the Bandit The first one is one of the greatest movies of all time. Smokey and the bandit three is actually a good sequel. Jackie Gleason is still funny as Buford T Justice. Jerry reed is still funny as the snowman but he ain't the bandit. Pat Mcormick and Paul Williams are funny as the big Enos and little Enos. the car chases are still good. it deserver's more credit then it got. i not saying its one of the best its just that good movies are a lot of times underrated. the son is funny except i do not know the actor who plays him. i like how they basically replicated the scene in the first one when bandit picks up frog. overall a pretty entertaining movie
