Comwayon A Disappointing Continuation

Curapedi I cannot think of one single thing that I would change about this film. The acting is incomparable, the directing deft, and the writing poignantly brilliant.

ChanFamous I wanted to like it more than I actually did... But much of the humor totally escaped me and I walked out only mildly impressed.

Kaelan Mccaffrey Like the great film, it's made with a great deal of visible affection both in front of and behind the camera.

Leofwine_draca SHADOWS ON THE WALL is an indie science fiction drama without any kind of plot development or incident. It's seemingly set in a garage occupied by a bunch of youths working on some new technology that will grant them the ability to access new dimensions and travel to the end of the universe. On an indie budget that isn't going to happen, and indeed this seems to be hoping it'll be the next PI. I have a feeling that the directors of these kinds of film try to use them as a springboard to a Hollywood career but nobody's going anywhere with this static and talky enterprise.

davidjr2008 I liked the movie a lot but the last 20 Min's kind of ruined it for me they should of just kept it a mystery. They had to add in some cheesy ass government guys and ruin it. I wanted to like the movie more but their acting just fell short... to many over dramatic scenes wanted to throw a tomato at my TV screen. In short I would say I liked 60% of the movie and it could of been amazing movie but they just made a few horrible mistakes. They probably could of cut out 25 Min's of bad parts and I would of gave it a 9/10. The girl was the best actor in my personal opinion , the two kids were seriously making me mad at the over the top paranoid / angry acting. The building of the machine was so 90s ...

diablo_d_s The level of ignorance regarding science and technology in this film is insulting. Ben Carland, who wrote, directed, produced and edited this waste of effort, apparently couldn't be bothered to write dialogue that would allow for suspension of disbelief. It is as though he doesn't even know what a power button does. The notion that a person can be "a whiz" at putting together electronics, at the component level, without knowing any math, is beyond ridiculous. There are some math like scribbles that use actual notation, but all related dialogue is gibberish, and the drawings are nonsense. But that's not all. On every level (writing, acting, directing, etc.) this movie is a failure. But it's not all bad, since it's not *the worst* acting I've ever seen, and there's no "kissy face" or "baby's mama drama".

rickaholland "Have a Coke", make some popcorn, relax and suspend disbelief. The unlikely unfolding of events and less-than award-winning acting is part of the fun of this kind of film — very much in the genre of the 1950's science fiction movies.Here are science-y people doing impossible, scientific-like things with technological-looking hardware which results in unforeseeable consequences of cosmic proportions. But, unlike modern "sci-fi" movies that rely heavily on computer-generated worlds, violence and prurience, this little film relies almost completely on plot and characters. That makes for a terrific bit of entertainment in my book.(I put "sci-fi" in quotes as most films of that kind today rely almost entirely on magic with not even the suggestion of anything scientific.)
