An old-fashioned movie made with new-fashioned finesse.

I just wanna join the people who think this movie is awesome. If you like romantic comedies with ridiculous antics, this film will have you smiling and laughing in no time. It's better than any Sandler or Farrell movie recently released. Anyone who gives this less than a 7 star rating was probably not in the mood for this type of movie. Last night I watched The Hateful Eight and although I'm a massive Tarantino geek I actually enjoyed this more. I might be a little bias as I also love Silicon Valley, but we can't always be in the mood to watch a cinematic master peace. Sometimes we just want to be transported away to a place that doesn't take itself to seriously.

Being a B movie, it is not that bad. It is eligible for some minor exceptions and if you consider that while watching it, then it does not disappoint much. Yes, there are many similar films like this, but what makes it somewhat special is that it is quite freely explored its contents without stressing out on detailing everything. I meant it was a simple road adventure film and you would feel it very familiar yet you will realise that it is not worth criticizing it.The actors were decent, but expected much better. Directed by a newcomer who had written many screenplays similar this theme. Like I said it was quite predictable, at a time decently enjoyable with a few laughs now and then, especially that Mexican police station scene was hilarious. You might get a million reasons to dislike it, but you achieve nothing from it. According to me it was surely a decent watch, hence not a must see, but if you do, then don't take it seriously, try to have fun within its limits.6/10

It's something unexpected happening in Hollywood industry: too many actors? Or directors? Or script writers? Or... all? I don't understand, seriously and honestly, how it's possible to make such movies and how actors agree on filming in them. Also... if you saw the Hangover trilogy, this one tastes so bad... actually a tragedy. It's so embarrassing to watch something like this. One more thing - I tried but could't find any single scene or second to laugh from. I think it's the best way to lose your sense of humour watching such nonsenses - so called 'comedies'- the movie crew and director have no idea what humour is. What I've seen here: tasteless scenes, dull surrounding, middle sound, idiotic script. And the plot. Oh wait, what plot?

Nardo is one of three idiot friends. When Jason, the most idiot of the three idiot friends, fouls up Nardo's wedding, Nardo goes after fiancée Tracy, who has gone to Mexico to enjoy the pre-booked honeymoon holiday on her own. After Nardo is carjacked and left naked in remote Mexican badlands, the other two idiots have to go and rescue him.Search Party badly wants to be The Hangover, and isn't. TJ Miller, who seemed to have cornered the market in annoying idiot friends until Zack Galifinakifianikanifikianikis came along, is as annoying as ever: being annoying isn't necessarily humour, though. There are precisely four reasons for seeing this movie: they are Shannon Woodward (fiancée Tracy, cute in a bikini), Rosa Salazar (waitress Pocohontas, cute in a short Red Indian outfit), Krysten Ritter (bar pick-up Christy, hot in sexy undies), and Alison Brie (co-worker Elizabeth, opulent in clinging office wear). Conversely, Nardo/Thomas Middleditch's member gets rather more screen time than it deserves, and wasn't a plus point in my book. This is one of those comedies which substitutes stupid and annoying for funny, as a result of which I found it stupid and annoying. And not funny.
