Good movie, but best of all time? Hardly . . .

A lot more amusing than I thought it would be.

Clever, believable, and super fun to watch. It totally has replay value.

it is finally so absorbing because it plays like a lyrical road odyssey that’s also a detective story.

I agree with Nutty_Goodness, this is a silly, fun, summer film. What we need are separate categories like Summer Movie. A summer movie does not take itself seriously. The special effects are just for fun, not for realism. The actors are aware that they're making a "B" movie and have fun with it. And when you rate a summer film, you must bear these things in mind. For example, in 'Sand Sharks,' four people are eaten in the first fifteen minutes and yet the inhabitants go on peacefully planning a spring break festival. The mayor says, "I'm drawing a line in the sand," GULP! Of course he's eaten. The people are so dumb that if they're all eaten by sand sharks the human race will be slightly improved. Of course they imagine they've got rid of the sharks and have the festival. Turns out the sharks love music. They're party animals.

hahahahahahahahahahahahah - that pretty much sums up this movie it was hilariously bad.. graphics were terrible.. acting was terrible however it was a super funny "horror" movie... not as good/funny as the piranha movies but I think it fits in well with that comedy horror category, but its more about how bad the movie is that makes it funny, than the story line actually being funny. I did think that Brooke Hogan did a very good job - she was about the only good actor in this movie. I found it super funny when at the end they blow up the huge shark and you can clearly tell people from behind the camera are throwing guys at the characters. if I was going to have a funny horror movie night, this would make it onto the list just for a good laugh.

As a horror, this film is rated 1/10...and I'm the biggest wimp ever, Hot Fuzz gave me nightmares (go figure). If you choose to view this film as a comedy however, it's great! Me and my friends sat through this laughing our heads off at the terrible CGI, (at one point I'm sure somebody was wiggling a cardboard triangle along the bottom of the screen), and the cheesy lines said with such a serious manner are quite frankly hysterical. "She's thinking....out of the sandbox! >8O" Deary me. It's entertaining at least, major weakness though is the inability to feel any connection to any of the characters, they're all very stereotypical characters, the clever one, the courageous police, the nob-head, etc. Overall, it's funnier when watching in a group, good option for a chill-out movie night with mates!

I love ridiculous movies - funny movies - stupid movies . This movie is just terrible even if it was meant to be terrible . I found my kids watching it and even they said to me we need to turn this thing off. Do Not in any way turn this movie on for fear of brain damage. It may very well end up being a cult type film especially in Colorado and Washington State in the near future as they may be more apt to enjoy said film while treating their ailments. For them it will be a great way to enjoy the legalities afforded to them recently - The rest of America would be better served to "just say no" to this movie until the laws are changed in their respective states.
