Retardead Audience Reviews

Tedfoldol everything you have heard about this movie is true.
Baseshment I like movies that are aware of what they are selling... without [any] greater aspirations than to make people laugh and that's it.
Clarissa Mora The tone of this movie is interesting -- the stakes are both dramatic and high, but it's balanced with a lot of fun, tongue and cheek dialogue.
Philippa All of these films share one commonality, that being a kind of emotional center that humanizes a cast of monsters.
robertwebb314 A long while ago I sat down to watch the low budget zombie flick RETARDEAD. I have to say that while the film suffers from horrible acting and a pretty bad directer it is still one of my favorite low budget movies of all time. The first about 4-5min of the movie are quite possibly the funniest thing you have ever seen and ever will see. It is fake concession stand commercials with every colour of the rainbow: ORANGE, Yellow, Brown! (you will understand once you watch the movie) The gore effects of the film were lacking in some parts but were top of the class in others like when a man literally get's ripped apart. When it comes down to it I really don't see how anything about "special" zombies and poop flavored drinks(again, watch the movie) could be anything short of amazing! That is why I give RETARDEAD a 10 out of 10!
yaktheripper These guys are making funny movies. "Monsturd" is hilarious, and though this is pretty funny it's not quite the gem that Monsturd was...but it's still a must see. You really do have to throw out the political correctness for a just a second. The mentally handicapped are not the target here, they serve a function to a clever title pretty much. To be clear, the evil scientist from the original gives these unfortunate mentally handicapped students a serum that boosts their intelligence and makes them genius. The side effect is they become zombie and spread the infection turning this into a zombie comedy more or less. Funny movie, intelligent jokes, and pretty intense gore all add up to a fun low budget sequel and I hope this crew makes another sequel. Good job ladies and gentlemen.
ledzeppelin824 This is by far one of the absolute most ridiculous "B" movies I've ever seen in my life....needless to say I loved it!....it looks like it was recorded on a VHS camcorder from 1991, has loads of blood and guts and to my surprise a cameo by my all-time idol Jello Biafra who used to be the lead singer of the Dead Kennedys and a wonderful spoken word artist...i just happened to stumble across it on netflix and with a title like Retardead how could I not check it out....certainly not for everyone, but if you like really ridiculous movies with loads of blood and hilarious dialogue you wont be disappointed....and thanks to the only other reviewer on IMDb i find out its a sequel to a movie called "Monsturd" made by the same guys!....yes...seriously...."Monsturd".....cant wait to check that one out too!
HaemovoreRex Well, it's time to throw political correctness right out of the bloody window now as the comedic genius of Rick Popko and Dan West bring us the long awaited sequel to the faecal favourite, Monsturd. This time the dastardly Dr Stern is performing experiments upon special needs students which whist initially highly beneficial (it turns them into savants!) has a rather unfortunate side effect........it subsequently transforms them into flesh hungry zombies! In no time at all Butte County consequently descends into chaos as the ever growing army of the living dead devour all in their path. It falls upon our intrepid heroes from the first film to save the day....but will they survive this brutal onslaught?Well first things first, if you are at all offended by either a) politically incorrect depictions of disability or b) bucket loads of gore then I'd hastily advise you to give this one a width berth. For those of you left, you're in for a real treat with this guaranteed! What can I say? This is simply hilarious fun from start to gore drenched finish with gags (and entrails!) flying left right and centre. It's also great to see virtually everyone involved with the first film making return appearances here again to, not least of all Popko and West themselves as the bumbling, bickering deputies.Best scenes? So many to choose from and indeed far too numerous to list but for me the very best bit is another extended puking scene just like in Monsturd which features here as Dr Stern is handing our weak stomached heroes the entrails from a corpse (don't ask! - You really need to see it to find out why!)Tremendous stuff and definitely one of the funniest films I've seen all year. Now......please, please can we have another sequel?
