RahXephon: Pluralitas Concentio Audience Reviews

Acensbart Excellent but underrated film
Sexyloutak Absolutely the worst movie.
BallWubba Wow! What a bizarre film! Unfortunately the few funny moments there were were quite overshadowed by it's completely weird and random vibe throughout.
SanEat A film with more than the usual spoiler issues. Talking about it in any detail feels akin to handing you a gift-wrapped present and saying, "I hope you like it -- It's a thriller about a diabolical secret experiment."
mmushrm Do NOT watch this movie before you watch the series. RahXephon: Pluralitas Concentio is basically the series with some scenes altered, story arch change, some character changes and a slightly different and better explained ending. Although it may be intended to be a stand alone movie, the condensing of 26 episodes into 120minutes leaves the movie disjointed and confusing. Everything is too rushed and the characters undeveloped. However the ending gives a better understanding of what happened then the TV series. All in all I cannot really recommend this movie as a stand alone movie. Even for those who have watched the TV series, I think it would be better served going to the ending to see a better explanation of what and why.
kneiss1 This is the "remake" of the one year older TV-series. The series had a lengths of 640 minutes, this movie stuffs the story into 120 minutes. This is the main problem the film is fighting all the time. Actually everything else is decent or good: conversations, drawings, music, atmosphere – all is on an OK-level. Yet, pretty much everything is destroyed because you keep feeling that something is missing... or something is explained badly... or stuff simply is told too quick. The movie doesn't take the time that is needed to create emotions. - It comes down to this: The whole film no longer works because everything is shortened way too much.I haven't seen the series, but I can imagine that it's a pretty good one. The movie had some great ideas and attempts. Still, I personally am not going to watch the show. Simply because I know exactly what will happen. This movie should have a warning printed on itself saying: "spoileralert".
