Very interesting film. Was caught on the premise when seeing the trailer but unsure as to what the outcome would be for the showing. As it turns out, it was a very good film.

Let me be very fair here, this is not the best movie in my opinion. But, this movie is fun, it has purpose and is very enjoyable to watch.

By the time the dramatic fireworks start popping off, each one feels earned.

Through painfully honest and emotional moments, the movie becomes irresistibly relatable

"Quentin Tarantino's Star Wars" is a 4-minute animated short film by writer and director Evan Mather and thanks to the references on Star Wars and Oscar-winning filmmaker Quentin Tarantino, this is among his most known works, an early career effort, but not a very early. It came out in 2002, but looking at the date displayed in the actual movie, it is even a few years older and heading straight towards its 20th anniversary. And yes, in here you see what a Star Wars film by Tarantino may have looked like / may look like, which is a bit more relevant these days as it seem Q is about to direct the next Star Trek movie. Anyway, back to this one here: Of course it is all about the comedy and not really about what such a project would have looked like. You also have several references about Star Wars and past Tarantino films like Pulp Fiction for example. It does a look cheap yes and that explains the rating here on imdb, but sometimes it was also fairly entertaining thanks to the references and you could see Mather's dedication. All in all, I still give it a thumbs-down. I also don't think Star Wars fans (unlike myself) or Tarantino fans (like myself) really need to check this one out. It's nothing special really. Skip the watch.

Just finished watching "Quentin Tarantino's Star Wars" and I don't really know what to think about it. I asked myself why I even watched this movie in the first place.I really don't understand why this movie is named "Quentin Tarantino's Star Wars", the movie has very little to do with Tarantino's style. The movie just mainly consists out of some "Star Wars" action figures that play scene's from "Star Wars: Episode IV - A New Hope". There are only few real notable Tarantino references and problem with them is that they are not really funny.I have a feeling that I probably would have liked this movie better if it had been longer and had some more story.3/10http://bobafett1138.blogspot.com/

OK a dude plays with his old Star Wars action figures, tape it, put some funky music for the soundtrack and steals dialogue from the Star Wars flicks. One or two references to Reservoir Dogs and Pulp Fiction and BAM! QUENTIN Tarantino'S STAR WARS. It sparks some interest to losers like me but it totally fails at delivering laughs or even giggles. I'm sorry but I did better animation as a child, not knowing what I was doing. And what is that crap at the end : "Made with Macintosh". Geez that guy is proud isn't he? Heck he surprised me, I never knew you could edit video with a Mac! Hot diggedy! I'll buy three! Thank you Macintosh, you made this crap-fest possible. You know, I love parody when it's well done and subtle or even when it's trashy and in your face but this... this is half an effort. Like an hour of work, maybe two. God, why is it listed on IMDb???AVOID!

This is a good piece of animation but not a very good film... but it's not supposed to anyway. I am surprised that the "Royale With Cheese" dialog was NOT mocked. Overall, it's an entertaining piece of work, and I'm sure its director will find a job in animation - not in a director's chair.
