Freaktana
A Major Disappointment
Nayan Gough
A great movie, one of the best of this year. There was a bit of confusion at one point in the plot, but nothing serious.

Let me be very fair here, this is not the best movie in my opinion. But, this movie is fun, it has purpose and is very enjoyable to watch.

Pyar Ke Naam Qurbaan Directed By B. Subhash is A Romantic Action Movie. It Was Last Movie Of Mithun - Subhash Hit Combination, Unfortunately It Was A Flop. Script Has Nothing New To Offer. Screenplay is Better in The First Half Compared To Second Half Which is Predictable. Dialogues & Action is Fine.Rich, Arrogant & Rude Devika Singh(Dimple Kapadia) is Saved by Billo(Mithun Chakraborty), A Motor Mechanic From The Local Goons. Devika is Sister Of Yashwant Singh(Danny Danzongpa) Who Has Been The Cause Of Trouble For People In The Village. Billo Works For Gauri(Mandakini) Along With Gulfam(Paintal) in Her Automobile Repair Shop. Devika Hates Billo But Somehow When He Saves Her From Daku Shankar(Gulshan Grover), They Fall In Love. Meanwhile Yashwant Singh Physically Assaults Gauri & She Commits Suicide. Revenge Begins Like Any Other Movie.Acting Wise, Mithun Chakraborty is Better With His Dialogues. Mandakini Has Less Screen Space But She Does Really Well. Dimple Kapadia & Danny Danzongpa Are As Usual. Raza Murad & Paintal Are Just Fine. Gulshan Grover Has Only Two Scenes. Music By Bappi Lahiri is Quite Average. "Title Track" By Vijay Benedict & Shobha Joshi And "Tarsa Hoon Main" By Sudesh Bhosle Are Better Compositions Of The Movie. Overall Strictly For Mithun Fans.
