BA_Harrison This sick flick certainly doesn't waste any time getting to the 'good stuff': before the first minute is up, a sexy young whore has been brutally gang-banged and beheaded by a trio of maniacs wearing rubber Halloween wolf masks! These guys are the Prostitute Killers, lifelong friends who share a common interest—raping and killing 'bad' women. In addition to thinning out the local prostitute population for kicks, the psychotic pals also find time to settle a score with Brother Shark, the local gangster/pimp who has been causing them trouble.Such a warped premise delivers all the exploitative sex and gore expected from a Cat III flick (assorted rape, scalping, necrophilia, bone breaking and eye popping), but director Shu-Pui Hou takes the bad taste in his movie one step further than most: where bad guys in this genre tend to be pure evil incarnate, this one asks the audience to sympathise with and perhaps even try to understand the film's three murderous degenerates. By displaying this dubious sense of morality, director Shu-Pui Hou has created something that seems even more immoral than your standard Cat III deviancy.

ElijahCSkuggs Where would I be as a film buff if I wasn't aware of the CATIII sub-genre? Who knows, but I can tell you one thing, I'd be missing out on a whole treasure chest of entertainment! Just recently I caught Prostitute Killers, and bingo bango, another entertaining CATIII! Prostitute Killers is about a trio of dudes who.......haha, yep, kill prostitutes. Due to being all orphans they banded together at some point and all decided it best to gang rape and murder prostitutes. I guess they're not the athletic types. Whatever, at least they have a hobby, right? Throw in some personal/relationship issues, a side story involving a local boss who controls gambling and prostitution and you got the main idea concerning Prostitute Killers. But also add in that there's a good amount of nudity, lots of sleazy sex, and some cool violence of course. I did say it was a good CATIII didn't I? Overall, the story moved at a fast pace, had all the ingredients a cool CATIII needs, a bunch of hot babes, and some funny subtitles. A bizarre idea that they filmmaker went with was you tend to side and feel for the Prostitute Killers. Slightly reminiscent of Rapeman, though Rapeman is really a Good guy, these guys admit to being bad men, but they are only killing "bad" women. Nevertheless, it's obviously evil killing these women, but you still relate to their characters when they aren't busy with their favorite "hobby". I think they may have had a name for it as well..."fever". "Let's fever!" Yeah, so like I said above, Prostitute Killers is definitely a cool flick and should be spoken of more often when people are looking for good CATIIIs. 8 outta 10

EVOL666 PROSTITUTE KILLERS is another in a long line of sleazy HK CATIII films that revolves around rape and violence. This one is a little "stronger" than average in terms of the acts portrayed, so only hardcore sleaze and exploit fans need apply to this one.Real simple story - three guys get their kicks from gang-banging and killing hookers. The cops hadn't caught on to them yet, until they let one of their victims live...Throw in a side-story about a ruthless loan-sharking gang leader who gets on the wrong side of the three rapists, and a pseudo-love story, and there ya have it.There are a few pretty graphic scenes in this one, including the rape of the second hooker that includes scalp ripping and necrophilia - and some semi-rough torture of the loan-shark boss. Pretty decent for fans of the "rougher" CATIII material. 7.5/10

Dr. Gore *SPOILER ALERT* *SPOILER ALERT*I bought this DVD on the enormous strength of its title: "Prostitute Killer". There wasn't any description on the back of the box. Well, there was but I can't read Chinese. All I saw were three guys brutalizing a girl that I assumed was a prostitute. Being a drooling fan of exploitation cinema, I had to take the plunge."Prostitute Killer" has a glaring problem. Not enough prostitutes are being killed. I counted two dead hookers. The movie starts off with all guns blazing. Three nut jobs in Halloween masks are doing a rape and murder job on a girl, (prostitute?), and the viewer rejoices. Then the movie wanders off into about ten different storylines and veers away from the most important storyline: The mass killing of prostitutes. There are gangsters who want money, a masseuse who has a bad husband, one of the killers is having an affair with a married woman, etc. I was very confused as to where in the heck this movie was going. I don't think the filmmakers knew what kind of movie they wanted to make so they made about three or four different ones.On the positive side though, the second prostitute killing was pretty graphic. I would recommend this flick to exploitation movie fans based on that one murder scene alone. Just don't expect much prostitute slaughter after that.
