This is one of the best movies I’ve seen in a very long time. You have to go and see this on the big screen.

This is a coming of age storyline that you've seen in one form or another for decades. It takes a truly unique voice to make yet another one worth watching.

Visionary film maker Uwe Boll's Postal is considered the greatest of all his works. Misunderstood and unfavorably viewed by some, it is indeed his sharpest piece of observation to date. It is a courageous motion picture that skilfully uses humor and satire to cut to the bone of the most significant issues of our times. Boll has no respect for the shabby conventions and euphemistic ridiculousness of world society and demands truth in every scene without exception. The cast is nothing less than superb and David Foley gives the performance of a lifetime in a part that is finally worthy of his exceptional gifts. Superficially, Postal is an outrageous comedy of thrills but look deeper and it's an uncompromising directorial statement that is totally unafraid and incredibly iconoclastic in intent. Uwe Boll is sometimes seen as an angry and erratic individual yet that inner anger is strategically used in this film with results that are purely devastating. tactically, the brilliant use of comedy to tear back the curtain and expose the dishonesty and lies which enslave us all is much more than an act of cinematic art. It is the initial step in a revolution, a cinema uprising meant to incite the audiences to express their own outrage without fear.

Yes this is a Uwe Boll film. A movie by a director as hated as Edward "Ed" Wood.Although I am often just a passive fan of his works, often seeing greater potential in his ability than he hastily delivers this gem had me smiling from ear to ear and often laughing out loud from start to finish. After being a solid fan of RWS (runningwithscissors.com/) then game duo Postal and Postal 2 I found this film a near complete homage at least to the second game venture.Although the film peaks quite early any true fan to the game will thoroughly enjoy this one.Notable performances by Dave Foley as Uncle Dave and Erick Avari as Habib.Zack Ward does a respectable job as the postal dude though I've seen him commit better to other roles.A must have addition to the fudge pack.

i bought this movie. not because i thought it would be good. but only because it came with postal 2.but i decided to watch it and see how bad it was. i can say that this movie went completely against my expectations.in short i truly loved this film. is captures the game perfectly.i don't think its a great film. but i haven't enjoyed a film this much in years. 10 out of 10 from me.if you like black comedy. if you like the game. if you like movies which make fun of the government and the problems in the world. then you could do a lot worse then postal.

It's like the fifth or sixth time I watch this movie, and every time I discover something new going on the background. And every time I watch it I certainly wonder how this movie can be rated following what seems to be the "Uwe Boll standard".I don't know anything about the rest of his movies; that game-to-film adaptation thing is definitely not my cup of tea. A film adaptation of "Street Fighter"?... come on, how can you be disappointed, what the f--- did you expect? Fortunately, I didn't know Postal was a video game. Its opening scene is a really good presentation card. The movie is brilliant. It's not on the artsy side of movie-making, sure, but it's really fun and clever. In fact, I think it's the only actually clever movie regarding all what came in the aftermath of the 9/11 events. No dramatization, no misplaced patriotism, just a witty look on all that came after: the media circus, the religious fanaticism, the shadows over the Bush administration... come on, he even pokes fun on the, let's say, "German legacy".So no, Uwe Boll may be the worst whatever in the world but this movie is not the usual trash, is not the usual Hollywood trash and definitely is no trash at all.Jihad!!
