Lots of fun but my 9-yo niece says there is too much (potential) animal abuse. And I agree with her. The guy tries to violently kill the cute rabbits all the time but in the end it's all o-kay! Ehhh...

Walk along people there's nothing to see here, especially not a family movie. Started promising than fast downhill to the mud.

It was a slapstick, by the numbers, not very good script, and crucially over violent children's movie that captured none of the quaint charm of the original tale and instead decided to push an aggressively violent streak, that I felt embarrassed exposing my child to. There were some serious depictions of electrocution and hard falls and hits, played for laughs but rendered for reality. Who were they making this film for? I don't think the film makers knew and it failed and worse left a mean after taste. If this is what passes for funny in the modern world then we're in trouble, and I guess we are in trouble.
