In the spring, male student Makoto Yuki transfers to Gekkoukan High School. However, as he heads to his new dormitory, listening to the music on his headphones, he is stopped. More precisely, time has stopped, and the people who were around him turn into coffins. Makoto learns that this period of time hidden between the minute of midnight is called the Dark Hour, a time when monsters called Shadows appear. Suddenly made the leader of his fellow classmates Yukari and Junpei by his upperclassmen Mitsuru and Akihiko, Makoto must learn empathy, his connection to his comrades, and the meaning of death. With the power of his Evoker aimed at his head, Makoto fights against the Shadows threatening to attack his world from the mysterious tower of Tartarus.

Persona 3 the Movie: #1 Spring of Birth Audience Reviews

Plantiana Yawn. Poorly Filmed Snooze Fest.
Cathardincu Surprisingly incoherent and boring
Vashirdfel Simply A Masterpiece
Billy Ollie Through painfully honest and emotional moments, the movie becomes irresistibly relatable
RetroPizzaTimeCritic The Movie about main character named Makoto Yuki arrives in the city who become transfer student of Gekkoukan High School, when he met them in Iwatodai Dormitory, two girls is Yukari Takeba, and Mitsuru Kirijo, and 2 Guys was Akihiko Sanada, and Junpei Irol, their have very own Persona likes Makoto have. They tell him about something about the dangerous place before staring midnight called "The Dark Hour" and creature out there called "Shadows", and they group called it "SEES" who let him join them as part of group, and their goes hunts the shadows. but then theirs new member was Fuuka Yamagishi was missing but their goes looking for her in place called "Tartarus" before two shadows show up.for all you likes this movie, and yes this movie better than Video Game, Makoto Yuki is a good main character, slice person, epic action, and great protagonist. Shigenori Soejima was great artist, great character design, and good creator, he did pretty good job working on it in Japan, Shoji Meguro is done as Composer who did use Persona 3 background music in movie and yes he was true Composer video game in Japan. but I wish their making English Dub version of Persona 3 movie on DVDs
SlyGuy21 Beings I started playing "Persona 3" today, I figured I'd give the movies a look. As much as I wish these were dubbed in English with the voice actors from the game, I can handle Japanese with English subtitles. If you're familiar with the game like me, this'll be a walk in the park for you. Everything follows the first two months of the game, and it's compacted just enough so you don't miss any important details. They also took out a lot of the more monotonous moments. There aren't any days were nothing happens, the days that aren't plot specific are skipped over, and you just have the meat of the story itself. To be honest, I've never actually beaten the game. The farthest I've ever gotten is when Yuki and company go to the beach. So beings that's about a third of the way through the game, the other three movies'll probably have more surprises for me than this.
purenexus Persona 3 the movie Spring of Birth is an anime adaptation of the first few hours of the game Shin Megami Tensei:PERSONA3...(duh).Ah yes,p3 the movie, which has caused the infamous name debate of the P3 character between the film and manga XD. I wont be covering the story too much because come on,if your interested in this movie, you already know the story of PERSONA3 in some form. Now if you have read the P3 manga, the P3 protag is a chill senpai, right?Well Spring of birth says Screw that!the protag this time is Makoto Yuki, and hes kinda...like a emotionless asshole to be honest (although he becomes more likable as the films progress). He even states '"i don't care if i die". The film follows the video game up to just after the empress and emperor boss fight, and has some extra screnes...like Makoto, being the motherfucking badass senpai he is,driving a motor bike into tartarus while summoning his persona! The film is quite faithful to the source material, and the animation is stunning, better then the anime adaptation of the PERSONA4 anime released a year or so before. So yeah,if you like persona, check Spring of Birth out!
