After the terrorists' supposed assassination, a sqad of soldiers fighting the zombies in the middle of the War save a lone woman searching for her brother intending to put an end to the fighting and must join forces to not only save everyone but stop the zombies from getting free. This one emerged as quite a decent offering overall. One of the better aspects featured here is the rather nice action that continually pops up throughout here which is to be expected considering the setting. Taking place in the middle of the Afghanistan War, this one emerges as pretty much guaranteed to provide all sorts of shorter and longer confrontations with the soldiers as it alternates from scenes like the group shooting stragglers along the route their traveling on or finding two or three in an ambush to several full-on extended gun-battles that are exceptionally fun. The opening assault in the underground lair to initially capture the main terrorist, the first encounter with the full group out in the desert where they take out the swarm on the dunes of the desert and the series of battles in the bombed-clearing or the outskirts of the deserted town work as enjoyable longer confrontations that provide this one with the kind of action that's worthwhile throughout here to lead into the fantastic finale which has tons to like about it. The series of zombie battles that break out from the released swarm taking out the soldiers guarding them to the different gunfights that occur underground with the swarms coming after them which gives this a lot to really like as these here make this one such a wild, continuous ride. Complete with some solid zombie make-up and lots of gore, this one has enough to really hold it up over it's few minor flaws. The main issue with the film is the complete lack of reasoning why the lone vigilante is in the area knowing that it's overrun with zombies. There's little reason for him to be here other than to provide a secondary side-plot that doesn't need to be there with the main part of the film already taken up with a main storyline that could've worked. It's also quite low-budget and shows it with the constant irritating CGI bloodshed for nearly every wound and blood-splatter unleashed. These here hold this one back slightly.Rated Unrated/R: Graphic Violence and Graphic Language.

This is a very underrated film. The actors play the roles well, some over the top kind of acting is appreciated in its timing, and the true acting in the serious parts is well done. It is a refreshing take on a genre that is well wore in at this point. You know what the characters are in for from the very start and it doesn't waste its time introducing characters that die right away, but keeps the importance of the said character in picture. The special effects are done well considering its not big time movie production. If your the type of person that like movies for the same 20 actors that you see all the time bugger off with your bad reviews and go back to giving the next *Michael Fassbender and *Ryan Gossling movie full rating just because you recognize them, and not because you like story lines or anything like that.*Nothing against those two, their good actors.

I was a financial backer of this movie from its Kickstarter project, however I didn't have any input into the movie or its development. So what I write here is my own opinion.I just wanted to say that without any preconceived ideas or thoughts about this movie I didn't think this was too bad at all. For a small budget movie it certainly didn't show the usual tell tale signs.Camera work was excellent, the CGI and special effects were above average for what you would expect of a B grade flick.Knowing that Eve Mauro (Dusty) was in this flick I was expecting to be spending a lot of time admiring her. However I was more impressed with Danielle Chuchran's (Tomboy) performance... she has such a cute smile.Give it a look, whilst you will probably think its not the best film you have ever seen, I'm pretty sure you wont think its the worst either.

I went to the bother of signing up just to review this 'cos i think it deserved more than the 4.5* it has.Firstly this is definitely a B-movie so u have to go in expecting that. I usually don't like B-movies like you get on SyFy but i do like zombies movies so i thought i'd give this a chance, and i'm glad i did.The premise is pretty simple... a group of soldiers looking for a militia base in zombie infested Afghanistan. Sure its silly but it works fine.At first i thought the acting sucked but it wasn't long before i changed my mind, i'm not saying it's going to win an Oscar but it was a lot better than the crap SyFy puts out, i got the impression the actors had fun and weren't just phoning it in, and i found myself giving a crap about the characters. t's a pity that being a zombie movie so many people had to die because i would definitely have watched a sequel with the same cast. There are some bad point sure, there are some major plot holes but i was kind of expecting that. I think the thing that bugged me most was the cgi, not the blood and gore cgi that was pretty good, but the helicopters that don't disturb the grass when they land and the cg muzzle flares rather than guns firing blanks. As most reviewers have pointed out the zombie makeup was pretty decent.I don't know why people complain about the chick with the sword, the soldiers knew they were going to be going up against zombies and given that i think a sword is a perfectly reasonable weapon. If you like B-movies or zombie movies definitely check it out, it kept my attention for the whole movie.
