Olaf's Frozen Adventure Audience Reviews

Lovesusti The Worst Film Ever
UnowPriceless hyped garbage
Intcatinfo A Masterpiece!
Curapedi I cannot think of one single thing that I would change about this film. The acting is incomparable, the directing deft, and the writing poignantly brilliant.
AnewId48 Don't review it badly because it 'wasted your time'. How many of you actually worry about how long a movie is or bother to see how long it is in the first place? You're sitting down at an over priced movie but this wastes your time? Okay.I don't particularly like Frozen as it's just been played too many times and even though I find it annoying this was cute. I liked it and it was refreshing. To people complaining about "OH WHY did they put it before Coco?!" He is trying to find family traditions for Anna and Elsa. He is trying to find FAMILY TRADITIONS before a movie about family and traditions! It fits, shocker I know.Regardless, it was cute. The animation was nothing short of the quality you'd expect. The story is cute and light-hearted and a nice short for the holiday season. Stop being scrooges people.
tavm All right, I managed to watch this 22-minute-short (or featurette as this would have been called by Disney if this had been shown during the '70s) before the feature Coco before the studio pulls it after tomorrow because of numerous complaints of patrons thinking they went to the wrong theatre because of the length. Many reviews on this site are negative because of what I just cited so I kept that in mind as I was watching it. My verdict: Yes, it's a bit long for a short and the songs seemed to be a bit too many. Still, it's quite entertaining during much of the running time, there were some funny gags, and a pretty touching message about family in it. Olaf did not wear out his welcome as I partially feared and the fact that the others like him enough was enough for me to like him, too. In summary, Olaf's Frozen Adventure was entertaining enough for me.
halimaton Let me start with my son. He is 10 years old and a big fan of everything that has animation in it. He has seen Frozen, he remembered the very first Frozen trailer (remember the one with Olaf and Sven on the frozen lake?) and he was looking forward to this short. And guess what? When it ended, he told me: "Disney, I HATE you for this!" That's nicely wrapping it up. This short is a ridiculous caricature of the things that once made Disney great. It looks as if someone was making fun of Disney classics by exaggerating everything to the point of being of unbearable. The movie features the singing of songs that sound as if generated by a computer, the actions of cliché characters that leave us completely untouched, and a story that is neither funny, nor exciting, nor touching, nor interesting. It's pure kitsch. Watching the movie is like eating a cake that only consists of sugar and tastes of nothing. If Disney's idea was to market the next Frozen movie, this short has failed spectacularly. At least in our family, no-one feels any inclination anymore to watch Frozen 2. Congratulations.
lisafordeay Frozen. Since it debuted on this day 4 years ago it has become a successful animated film of all time. In 2015 we had a 6 minute short called Frozen Fever which was playing in front of Kenneth Branagh's Cinderella and now here we are with yet another so called short dubbed Olaf's Frozen Adventure which was playing with Coco. The majority of people detested this short because of its running time of 24 minutes. Yes this short is 24 minutes long. So what is it about. Olaf(voiced by Josh Gad) is on a mission with Sven(Kristoff's reindeer)to find ways of how families spend their Christmas and what traditions they have since Anna and Elsa(voiced by Kristen Bell and Idina Menzel)never celebrated Christmas before and its up to Olaf and Sven to give Anna and Elsa their own tradition for the holiday season.Like the film back in 2013 this has a total of 6 songs to be exact from Ringing The Bells to Its That Time of Year as the first short had just the one song Making Today A Perfect Day. It is obvious that Idina Menzel and Kristen Bell have very strong vocals as their singing was on par here. Josh Gad is still as annoying as ever(since 2017 was a big year for him from the remake of Beauty & The Beast with Emma Watson and Dan Stevens, later he teamed up with Stevens in Marshall and now this short from Frozen). Now a lot of people think I hate Frozen and I don't hate it I found the 2013 film very good but it is a very overrated film and this short is definitely a cash grab for its upcoming sequel Frozen 2 released in 2019. 6/10
