Excellent, Without a doubt!!

It's entirely possible that sending the audience out feeling lousy was intentional

Fun premise, good actors, bad writing. This film seemed to have potential at the beginning but it quickly devolves into a trite action film. Ultimately it's very boring.

Great story, amazing characters, superb action, enthralling cinematography. Yes, this is something I am glad I spent money on.

In the 80s-90s any movie begin with "Night of something" all guarantee to be a cheesy horror movie so Night of the Demons from 1899 is no exception. The group of teenagers throw a party in a haunted place on Halloween night? Yeah it gonna be a bloodbath for sure.Beside the usual dumb teenagers doing dumb things i quite enjoy this movie. The opening scene with the animation is fun,the soundtrack is amazing and when we get to the gory stuff it not disappoint but still the whole movie is so cliché so i only recommend it to fan of old school horror

I am a connoisseur of bad horror movies from the 1980s, but this one is sadly lacking even by those standards. The dreary dialogue, made worse by appalling acting, with everyone grimacing and grinding out their lines by rote like automatons, were simply too much to bear. These performances are of the quality you might find in a high school drama production. Even worse, it lacked action, ignoring an unwritten rule for this sort of film: there simply must be a killing, maiming or supernatural occurrence during the first ten minutes. That doesn't happen here. The early scares are limited to silliness such as someone's little brother popping out of a closet shouting "Boo!" If you're 12 years old and willing to watch almost anything on TV while babysitting for your next door neighbors, you might find this acceptable. As for me, I tried to watch it but had to turn it off after 10 minutes. It was so stupid I couldn't stand any more.

I saw this movie when i was 14 or 15 in 1989. the only reason i watched it was because i liked the poster with the demonic Angela on it. and it saying freddy and jason are to scared to come. if it wasn't for that i probably would have passed it up. i loved this film and i am not into horror movies to much. just fantastic especially angelas dancing scene where towards the end you can see her warp from one point to the other a few different times. i thought that was really bad ass. i forgot about this movie for many years and recently came across it. i didn't care for the next 2 films that much and really hated the 2009 remake. angela was my favorite character but wasn't thrilled with the way she looked in the next 2 films. this movie had me into it from beginning to end. if you watch it try to get the unrated version. the added scenes might not be that much but if you see the unrated 1st then the r rated next, the way it just cuts off from a couple of scenes seems stupid. just as i do bad santa (unrated of course) i will be watching this one every halloween from now on.

After watching the horror masterpiece DEMONS (1985) and its sequel, DEMONS 2 (1986), I was recommended this film (and its sequels). I decided to give this movie a shot in the hopes of something new yet still possessing the same qualities of the previous films mentioned. To put it mildly, it was a let-down. The "film" didn't seem to know what it wanted to be. Was it a horror? I should say not. Comedy? I hope not, nothing was too amusing. The characters were very uninteresting and annoying. Within less than a minute of being introduced to them, I couldn't care less if they died immediately. In fact, that was what I was hoping. The only good thing about this movie was that it finally ended.Avoid.
