best movie i've ever seen.

The joyful confection is coated in a sparkly gloss, bright enough to gleam from the darkest, most cynical corners.

The film's masterful storytelling did its job. The message was clear. No need to overdo.

A clunky actioner with a handful of cool moments.

Gory tale of Bigfoot, this made the infamous Video Nasties list here in Britain in the mid 1980's. To date it has only since been released on disc heavily cut but I'm certain that in these more enlightened times it would now be passed by the BBFC uncut. This film is a guilty pleasure of mine. Yes, the acting is as wooden as the trees in the forest, the dialogue is cringe worthy & the effects certainly aren't very special (though plentiful). Bigfoot himself is obviously a big man dressed up in a hairy costume. But what I like is that the many gory deaths are quite imaginative (especially the poor biker who stops to take a pee, only to be deprived of his manhood - ouch!), it's fast paced, throws in some sex and black magic, has an eerie soundtrack & is just good fun. Certainly one of the more enjoyable "Nasties"

first of all this movie is really cheaply made. that being true, i have to say that they really made an impressive movie with said lack of funds. it is a gruesome movie exploring the bigfoot myth. i rented this movie so many times when i was a kid. it definitely made a big impression on me more then but i think i would've liked it as an adult if i hadn't seen it then. despite the low production it still left me with that unsettling feeling that we horror fans like to experience again and again. i think you can watch this on youtube. so yeah, check it out. check it out right meow! yeah, yeah, do it. bigfoot is one crazy mahfah. crazy mean and crazy horny

This movie is all kinds of bad. Why a 4/10? Because it's totally salvageable as a riff-fest.A professor takes his students to a remote area of woods to validate some Bigfoot claims. They manage to find him and tick him off. Prof survives to tell the tale.Along the film's twisted path, we encounter generic victims. Among the first is a pair of hot & heavy lovers. As he's killed, she's emoting. And over-emoting. And even goes beyond 'scenery chewing' status. There are flashbacks involving stories of other victims - that are randomly thrown into the main story's progress. There's "Crazy Wanda" a survivor who they try to hypnotize into telling her tale - AFTER rescuing her from being ritualistically murdered by some townsfolk. Yes, you read that right. The lighting is, at times, horrible. The plot is drawn out to the point I kept losing interest & pausing the movie. However, for the time, the kills are original (and graphic), and the sound is decent. The randomness of the plot & some sub-par acting allows for fun times with friends. I've seen plenty of horror films that don't even have that entertainment value. However, as a study in the genre, this one misses more than it hits.

this old time classic is the most gory an scary big foot movie of them all, professor Nugent and his motley gang are looking in the deep dark woods for the yeti. only to find the creature is in no mood for interview's! and in graphic flashback we are show numerous bloody deaths best of all the camper who gets a rude awakening by being thrown onto some rather sharp branches! the acting is well quite good! i first saw this many years ago on beta-max when it was uncut, I've recently brought the DVD and its cut to bits! so my advice is to look for the American version on region 1 thats has all the death scenes in tact, it was on the video nasties list for ages and with good reason! very messy in places. watch and enjoy!
