For all the hype it got I was expecting a lot more!

A lot of perfectly good film show their cards early, establish a unique premise and let the audience explore a topic at a leisurely pace, without much in terms of surprise. this film is not one of those films.

This is one of the best movies I’ve seen in a very long time. You have to go and see this on the big screen.

Saw this on a big screen at Midwest Weirdfest. It is fun for what it is, a movie that took several years to make with no money. And the actress playing the Nurse said "There's Nudity!" ~ & Over-The-Top-Acting, which is my big gripe for the film. Regarding the acting, I thought the villain was too far over the top & our hero not far behind. They did one cool acting trick with Koenig & his "younger self" that caught me off guard, so I loved it. David Oden Stiers knew someone on set & lobbied to be in it...Another movie for the curious.

Good Movie for those that enjoy the Adult Humor of National Lampoon.Good CGI mixed in with 1960s to 1980s Props.Intentionally made having a 1960s to 1980s "B Movie" kind of Plot. Even the Title, Neil Stryker and the Tyrant of Time, sounds like one of those 2 movies for the price of one "B Movies" shown at Theaters or Drive-Ins (like "Now Showing" 1978 Attack of the Killer Tomatoes!, 1984 Revenge of the Killer Tomatoes, 1988 Return of the Killer Tomatoes all showing one after the other for the price of one Movie Ticket).(Spoiler) Neil Stryker and the Tyrant of Time, sounds like a Children's Movie; but, definitely is NOT. Unless, you want questions about the Naked Ladies, "Vaginas", "Rusty Trombone", etc..(Spoiler) An Old Goblin using a stick, living in the base of a tree......looked like Star Wars "Yoda".A mix of A List Actors, B List Actors, and C List (New Actors).

This film took ten years to make. The love and labor shows tremendously. It's so damn clever, and snarky. If I had one complaint, it would be that I don't own the Bluray as of yet. The pace of the film is fantastic. The effects are, for the most part, all practical! Goblin puppets?! The digital effects are also so wonderful (such as a way cool body force field at one point). And the cast, led by Rob Taylor and Nic Costa (both playing multiple roles), is so damn funny. They really show us a fun and original time. The Mad Scientist has the funniest voice I have ever heard. I have read reviews from around the globe that the cast and crew obviously didn't take themselves too seriously (and sure, they have a great sense of humor), but when I look at the sets that these folks built alone, with hardly a "budget", I cannot justify that summation. NSTOT should give Indie Filmmakers hope to realize their own filmmaking dreams. Give this movie a try, because it's bound to be a classic. It goes for the throat, and sucks you in. Also, cool vagina!

If you liked Kung Fury, Turbo Kid, Sharknado or anything with Barbara Streisand then Neil Stryker is watchable. Not love as it just isn't that good or bad or bad good or good bad if you catch my drift. Its just bad for way to long compared to the ones first mentioned above. Watch after chopping a full bowl and pleasuring your partner as they will get restless after 5 minutes.
