My Daughter's Secret Audience Reviews

Baseshment I like movies that are aware of what they are selling... without [any] greater aspirations than to make people laugh and that's it.
Robert Joyner The plot isn't so bad, but the pace of storytelling is too slow which makes people bored. Certain moments are so obvious and unnecessary for the main plot. I would've fast-forwarded those moments if it was an online streaming. The ending looks like implying a sequel, not sure if this movie will get one
Yazmin Close shines in drama with strong language, adult themes.
Jenni Devyn Worth seeing just to witness how winsome it is.
guil fisher I could have watched anything after seeing the 10 minutes of this silly film. Not to be taken seriously, I can't imagine spending the money to produce this film. It would have counted more had it been donated to the crisis in Puerto Rico or Houston or Las Vegas tragedies and put to better use. The acting was terrible and leading lady, Jennifer Grant, now over 50 years old, is trying to pass herself off as a teenager with that long silly hair of hers. Is she trying to look as young as her daughter? I know, I keep complaining about LMN and all the actresses they hire with this long long long hair that drives me nuts. They are so unattractive with that look. My daughter would never leave the house looking like that. Her hair is cut to the shoulder and that's it. Not the Dorothy Lamour look. What is with women these days? Add those ugly black tights showing every contour of their body and you think they are advertising and something not nice. Believe me, my child will NEVER LOOK OR DRESS LIKE THAT. No matter what the trend is. LMN start getting some attractive young ladies looking their age and not like hookers and for God's sake give these over the hill women some class.
phd_travel A 17 year old girl inadvertently gets mixed up in a robbery planned by her boyfriend on the store her mother works in.This lifetime movie isn't ground breaking but it's surprisingly watchable thanks to a good cast and good dialog. Jennifer Grant as the mother is quite good. The lovely pre Vampire Diaries Nina Dobrev takes a role that could have been annoying and makes her quite sympathetic especially when she does some irritating things. It has a lesson about consequences about having the wrong boyfriend. Listen to your Moms girls! Worth a watch.
edwagreen Excellent film where a college bound student's boyfriend and his brother make her an unwittingly accessory to both robbery and murder when they hold up the jewelry store that her mother works in and trick her into coming into the car and acting as the lookout.Obviously, the girl becomes impossible to deal with as her behavior changes drastically as the police close in on who are the culprits.Good detective work leads the police to the culprits. There is excitement throughout and the ending is well deserved but filled with panic. This is a definite film dealing with conscience and ultimate redemption.
ArgleBargle12345 The movie is all about the terrible female angst of the lead character, who was implicated in a robbery/homicide by her lowlife boyfriend. But if you ever watched a cop show in your life, you know that the moment she didn't get out of that car and run and call the cops, she was an accomplice. And every day that she continues to cover up her boyfriend's guilt, she is an accomplice after the fact. She's an amoral criminal and I don't see how anyone can possibly feel sorry for her or be concerned about her "plight." Legally she is as responsible for the murder as the guy who pulled the trigger.Anyway I'm sitting here watching it, so what's that say about me :-)
