Monday Audience Reviews

Micitype Pretty Good
Protraph Lack of good storyline.
Kaydan Christian A terrific literary drama and character piece that shows how the process of creating art can be seen differently by those doing it and those looking at it from the outside.
Tobias Burrows It's easily one of the freshest, sharpest and most enjoyable films of this year.
saintofkillrs Finally a true and accurate representation of Los Angeles and all its colors and cultures! And what a debut! Wow. This short had more heart than most feature length movies out there. It's simple: Monday has the SOUL of L.A. It was authentic and not some Hollywood product. Dinh is a talented filmmaker and writer. This one reminded me of yet another Asian filmmaker that I knew would blow up when I first saw his short film, "Victoria Para Chino" -- Cary Fukunaga. The talent is there and honestly, we need more Asian storytellers. Period. But I do have one complaint amongst all these accolades,... I wanted MORE Monday! Ha! It needs to be a feature. Plain and simple. Or a series. Wink, wink. This one needs to be seen by EVERYONE. It's a wonderful narrative about family, friends, mischief, and trouble around the corner. But most importantly, it's an L.A. story and the city itself is as important as any character in the film.
