Missy and the Maxinator Audience Reviews

Greenes Please don't spend money on this.
Matialth Good concept, poorly executed.
MamaGravity good back-story, and good acting
BelSports This is a coming of age storyline that you've seen in one form or another for decades. It takes a truly unique voice to make yet another one worth watching.
ladybugmore Just to be clear, the 10 stars is for the gaoat (greatest actor of all time), josh sukow. thank and goodbye
Betsy Morici I thought it was an interesting concept, however the idea did not transfer over to the finished product. It was very choppy and the characters were flat. The script was poorly written. The word choice was not the best. None of the characters were distinct. The story and characters did not develop over the course of the movie. The action scenes were not that exciting. The editing was not done well. The effects could have been better. The props, especially the machine could have been more creative and better. I liked how the movie was filmed on sight though. It made it seem more realistic. The setting really helped the movie.
Gwen Stefani I loved this movie. I realize that it may not have the same tools as the more famous Hollywood movies, but it did the best with what it had. I think that the plot is like no other out there. If I were personally directing the movie, I would not have changed a thing. I specifically loved Josh Sukow. He really showed a great understanding for the script. He followed the plot like no actor I've ever seen before in a way that makes me want to see more and more of him. Not to mention he is clearly the cutest one on screen. Mad props to whoever picked the actors, because Josh Sukow is a keeper for life. I am excited to see what he possibly has in store for himself as an actor. If he is not already, he needs to be on his way to Hollywood. He deserves the big times more than anyone, and this performance truly showed that.
Ariana Marcanti I thought it was a decent movie for having high school actors. But, I think the use of the green screen was a little annoying and a little too obvious. Also, the main character's grandpa from the past was 16 when this was being filmed, but because of re-filming, in some scenes he's actually 20 years old. It's pretty obvious he's not in high school. Also, the evil villain's teeth were really gross. Also, the way he was using his cane made it look as though he was rowing down a river in a boat as opposed to trying to catch a few kids. However, 10 out of 10 for that Josh Sukow guy and his facial expressions.
