There are better movies of two hours length. I loved the actress'performance.

Excellent and certainly provocative... If nothing else, the film is a real conversation starter.

Well , the great commercials about this movie made me think that it would be something very interesting and entertaining movies...well I WAS WRONG. May be I didn't catch the line...but it was such a mess. Some story for some people who actually do...nothing , excuse me , but I believe that kind of commercials blurs the view of the spectator. I was expecting for something different ... what about the actors...well again bigger expectations. But may be the mistake is mine , I had bigger expectations, in future I'll try expect the worst looking for the best! I really need something good !It was partly funny, but not good enough.

As a short introduction, I would like to mention that this is the first time I write a review on this board. I felt obliged to do it for 2 reasons: 1. I'm Bulgarian and I've waited a long time to see a quality Bulgarian movie; 2. Most Bulgarians giving the reviews give a biased judgment, including (but not limited to) the clichés "OMFG, this was the best movie evAr!" ,"Better than Hollywood crap", "Perfect", etc.. But since I'm a fan of (global) cinema I gave it my best to write an objective review. After watching the movie for around 30 minutes, you will start getting the feeling that this is another Guy Ritchie production. And this is actually the movie's strongest and weakest point. Strong - because you have good directing, quality camera work, interesting characters and a few interweaving subplots. And bad - because the settings and scenery are dull (you almost have no idea that this is actually taking place in London), the comedy element is almost missing (despite the movie being announced as comedy) and some of the subplots are really...lets say strange (e.g. the ducks subplot). The latter was for me the biggest flaw. In comparison, movies like "Snatch" have numerous subplots and characters that constantly cross each other's path and even though some of them are really absurd you never get the feeling that they are out of place. In Mission London, however, the best effect that some of the subplots achieve is to confuse you.But even with all the negatives, I think this movie did excellent job of showing that Bulgarian studios are capable of producing quality product. This was a great first attempt and I'm looking forward to the next ones. 7 out of 10

Mission London never gets boring and entertains 100%. The actors - most of them very well known to the Bulgarian public and completely unknown to the rest of the world, are full of qualities and motivation to do their best. That makes them very persuasive. In fact this movie is so good, if it was a woman I would have married her brother (Bulgarian way of expressing). Of course it will be fair to say that the humor in the film is directed a little bit more towards the Bulgarians, there are some specific touches connected with the Bulgarian culture and style of living that the Bulgarians will grasp more effectively than others. So in my opinion that makes the film more enjoyable for a Bulgarian than anybody else. But nevertheless this one is a fine piece of a movie. If you watch carefully you will eventually know something more about Bulgarians and a lot more about the way they organize foreign adventures.

I'm not giving this movie a 10 just because I'm a Bulgarian. I laughed really hard - something that hasn't happened for years watching a Hollywood production. Yes, it wasn't a deep, meaningful movie, but who expects that from a comedy?!? The script was really original, nothing like the comedies I've seen in the last few years. We should admit at least that - we tried to do something different. That's the main reason this movie deserves an excellent rate - it's nothing like the movies we are used to watch. No hollow and unreal love story, no happy ending, no glorifying the nation. It's the exact opposite of that - short fling; interesting and unexpected, yet the only believable ending; exposing the main features (mostly the bad ones) of our nation. Shortly - the real life. And may be the main reason this movie has to be watched is to contribute the Bulgarian cinema - we showed talent and ambition, probably over time we will make something really great!
