Arrica Lee Well, it is not really bad. True, I watch it just because there are the Duffs in it but do give some credit to the crews for setting up the plot quite nicely. I must say the movie has some lame lines and not as funny as what I would have predicted from Hillary. But, this is Haylie's breakthrough act. She has a drop dead gorgeous face and a pretty good smile. Not to mention they boot in two hot guys. Material Girls has a plot almost familiar to us all because I think they could have been almost predictable. If they could add in some bizarre moments in between, it would have been beyond memorable. Not Hillary's best definitely, but worth a watch for those who are just too bored and need some romance to spice up their life. Not recommended though to those who loves action, thriller and will easily feel sleepy when watching a boring movie.

lorita_105 I personally liked this film because it describes the feelings of girls who aren't very "normal". Teenagers nowadays think more in trends than in other things. This girls find themselves with nothing. The film basically shows what problems they have facing real life conditions which are everyday life for people who every day go out to work. I also think the actresses play well their parts as i presume it's difficult to exaggerate the life of two teenagers who live like queens in their perfect world. In the end I think the film shows that you need a bit of effort to go through life and you can't expect people to do things for you. This film shows kids that you have to believe in what you want to make your dreams come true. The filming was also good because it shows the contrast of the rich part of a city and the streets where people with less economical resources live. I would recommend this film to people who like comedy, romance and a good story to watch.

nikki wiggins I love this movie because it shows how a 'rich girls' lifestyle can be ripped away from them in just one second. But also because every movie Hilary duff has been in she has retained her innocence and hasn't become like all the other typical Hollywood stars.....Plus there is also a scene with the Good Charlotte hotties, Joel and Benji madden.. Its short but so good. Its also a great laugh for when you feel down. The way that the girls manage to keep their company and get back up on their feet whilst also keeping their father a legend and hero...... Plus there is still love and romance, (which of course, i mean Hilz always finds love in all of her films), between both the marchetta sisters............If you like a good drama then this is the movie for you...I love this movie 10/10
